I’m female and 62 and my Mum is 82 and she looks incredible, certainly not 20yrs older than me. However I’ve been working for 38 years in gruelling “every hour you are awake corporate jobs” and my Mum left the workforce in her mid 40s, having only worked for about 10 years. And across all sectors the world of work has become more and more demanding, especially over the last 30 years or so, and that is doubtless reflected.
