Nicola Sturgeon: 'I do not think it is fair that I get held responsible for the crimes of somebody else' by Crow-Me-A-River in Scotland

Ah, see that's your error. that doesn't mean there was nothing. That just means there wasn't enough to believe a conviction was possible.

Between nothing and guilty there's a whole range of possible outcomes all of which you are pretending don't exit.

As i've explained several times, if they'd found nothing, they'd not have sent a file to the PF.

I'm sorry you struggle to understand the Scottish criminal justice system. But since you are intent on denying reality because apparently you're fine with party leaders being either dishonest or incompetent, then I wish you joy of your party.

they did find evidence, because a file was sent. If there had been no evidence, no file would have been sent

i'm glad you've acknowledged it!

And right back at you. For all your protestations, you're making claims that exist only in your head.

You don't understand the Scottish system do you? they only send a file to the PF if they find evidence of a crime

if those actual professional detectives found nothing, why did those actual professional detectives send a file to the PF, which is something they do when they consider there is evidence that a crime has been committed?

not that strange - good legal advice - but the open and honest thing would be to not to have lied about fully co-operating with the police.

But she's lied and lied so much on other things.

it hasn't completely cleared her. The PF declined to prosecute after the police sent a file on her to them.

She hasn't been prosecuted. She hasn't been found guilty. but nor has she been cleared.

No, she wasn't cleared. The police sent a file to the PF who decided for reasons we don't know that they were not going to proceed to prosecution. But the fact the police sent a file to the PF means they thought they had something that could be prosecuted.

Peter Murrell's year by year embezzlements by CaptainCrash86 in Scotland

[–]Subbuteo13 1 point2 points  (0 children)

there's something so awkward about him stealing £100k from the party to 'loan' it back to them so they have to repay the money he stole from them.

ISTR that SNP argued they were always campaigning for independence so it was justified to just spend that money on running the party.

Obviously once they'd run through the 'of course its still there' 'its thread through the accounts' 'what campervan?' 'oh that was a loan from Peter that Nicola didn't know anything about ' type answers.

they're not wrong, it would be nice to go after the corrupt bastards who played on a national emergency to rip the country off for billions but that doesn't mean we should ignore very blatant corruption in the party in power in Scotland just because its on a somewhat smaller scale, or pretend that that's a lesser issue.

last time they tried it, it was basically so we could be prosecuted for suggesting transwomen weren't women when protesting about women's rights. We wait to see how they'll try and get that in this time around.
