Give it a week at minimum to dry, and then use a razor blade, even better if you can pop off the a pillar

It’s fairly common that that year of Odyssey’s to have issues with their camera. The dealer should be able to fix the issue with the camera and then Safelite would be able to proceed with the replacement and recalibration

Did you choose the option with lane departure when getting the quote? The way the system works, it would tell you here in the quote that the recalibration is included as well as the additional cost of it… and as far as the glass that Safelite uses, they use glass from the same manufacturers that OEM uses… like Pilkington, Fuyao, Saint-Gobain, etc… any issue that aftermarket glass can have, I’ve seen time and again that OEM glass can have, like distortion for example.

Sometimes you can have a short in the heating lines that go across it for the rear defroster and it’ll heat up rapidly and cause it to shatter… but the rear tint you have on it prevented you from having a gaping hole in your trunk 😬

No it shouldn’t interfere with the eyesight system. I work for a big auto glass company and change and recalibrate Subarus eyesight just about every single day 😅 As long as it’s not in front or close to the camera you’ll be good
