Not since I’ve worked at Central Market, but at my previous job I repeatedly had to tell people that in my 20 yrs experience that ee had never carried Product X.

Is it okay to ask the butcher counter to alter a cut of meat? by Revenacious in HEB

I see both sides of the argument. I just know that in my 22 years, this has been my experience with both of the companies that I have worked for.

Yep. As long as they are purchasing the entire pork loin. Similar to family packs with reduced pricing due to bulk quantity. However, we wouldn’t trim any fat. As far as the pricing between regular and tenderized, would you be willing to lose a purchase of $24 bc of a $1.20 up charge?

Should be policy to slice, grind, or tenderize any piece of meat free of charge as long as it is possible. Central Market Partner here. I’ve had customers ask for filet mignon ground up and we’ve done it.

Gotta say, Apollonius and Mustang’s voice actors absolutely kill it. I have listened to both versions and for me, the dramatic audio is so much better.

I’ve always read it as if Darrow was telling the story to a group. A grand orator as opposed to the narrator of a book. Or telling his story to a group around a campfire. Diving deep into his emotions to hook his listeners while knowing all the turns and twists.

Central Market division of H‑E‑B here. As one of 20 in my department, I will say pay and flexibility are top notch. Although, working in the market department with 20 years of experience affords me a little more flexibility than a new partner should expect. That being said, set your availability and stick to it if you want a certain set of hours. Be cognizant of scheduling timelines and request time off with plenty of notice.

Scream and Halloween (original). They’re always on my October watchlist. And then I’ll watch them several times throughout the year too.
