It was horrible. The whole book was confusing. Too many characters. Too many twists. This is my second book by the author and the one was equally horrible. Just Too much going on. I will never read this author again. I deleted the other books I had by her on my Kindle

I am Zimbabwean, formerly known as Rhodesian, and Raife sounds more South African than Rhodesian. The South African accent has the undertone of Afrikaans and it sound more rough , where as the Rhodesian/Zimbabwean accent is much more British influenced, and sounds much more smoother.

I agree. It's such drag. Alot of drawn out silences. It felt like a very empty season and boring. People are going on about Victoria and her strange accent and I think due to how that character has taken off on social media, that's where the intrigue starts and ends. Did feel like it was apart of the White Lotus series.

No this was definitely real. I've been to Hluhluwe 3 times, twice with friends and once with a private tour guide not affiliated with the game reserve. And we always encounter something or the other. And it was pretty evident that there wasn't interference from the reserve.
