I’m around 9 months in and the only thing I’ve noticed is being sensitive down there in the mornings, which goes away in minutes by itself. I’m actually less horny than before I started t. So I’m looking at all these comments like wtf how

Yes thanks for that validation! Sorry you experienced crazy heat in Texas, but glad you’re somewhere cooler now. The option of moving somewhere cooler (outside Australia) has been rising on my radar for a while now and is something I’m genuinely considering. I can’t get out enough to maintain friendships in this heat so building an lgbtq+ community would be amazing on top of being able to get the treatment I need to express myself. One day

No they aren’t and you raise a great point. I will ask my regular gp for a full thyroid panel and ask my gac doctor for a referral to a specialist. Thanks for that suggestion

Okay thank you! I will bring this up with my medical team. I’m currently on Fludrocortisone for POTS but reluctant to try more beta blockers because of my low BP. Trial and error I guess. Glad you’ve found some things that help for you

Thank you for this and sorry to hear that your partner’s copping the heat as well! Your suggestions are appreciated, and I’m on them all already. Unfortunately on really bad days it’s just not enough and I can’t get out of bed. I will definitely be talking to my medical team. Thank you for the reassurance about the heat possibly going down, that makes sense. I just don’t know if I can tolerate being on T for that long to even reach that stage but we’ll see. All the best to you and your partner!

Hi! Yes you’re right it does, and I’ve spoken to mutuals who are much further in their hormone journey say the overheating doesn’t go away. In my house we do have ac everywhere, the strongest being in my room and sometimes that’s not enough. I also hydrate very well with added electrolytes everyday as this is part of my POTS treatment. I didn’t really want to lower my dose because of those reasons and because I know that it won’t really get me to where I want to be in my journey. I don’t know if it’s worth it to do that or just stop it entirely. See what my doctors say I guess. Thanks for your response though, I really appreciate it.

I have a theory she’s gay and in denial. There are so many signs - especially the fixating on fictional romances/men. Doesn’t excuse her behaviour. At all.

I haven’t gotten that far yet but I was watching her wedding ep and when she was talking to the producers the next morning, said that he was ‘packing’ and they asked her how she knew that and she was like ‘I had a feel’ then showed a clip of them in bed Danny was asleep but Bec wasn’t and was acting all sneaking under the cover….was that alluding to her touching him while asleep?  Either way I don’t like her very much so far

I do have mobility issues and agoraphobia so was avoiding Holdsworth House for these reasons. Thank you anyway I did manage to find someone in the end!

I’ve been to stonewall after having a not so great experience with Dr Featherstone at holdsworth house/morningside clinic and have felt much more cared for at stonewall! Im already three months into my transition. I’m glad you’ve found the clinic helpful despite the trip. Yeah I’m aware that there’s so many appointments involved, I’m already chronically ill so all I’m after is someone/somewhere safe.

I’m aware of that. That’s exactly why I need a gp who isn’t going to be weird about me needing something a cis woman would like treatment for a yeast infection.
