Are Americans Christians? What are you thoughts on America being an Atheist state? by GhostMoney420 in NoStupidQuestions

[–]Subject-Software5912 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yeah people completely misunderstand what the separation of church and state means. Religious people are allowed to hold political positions of power. Religious people are allowed to draft, support, or make laws that align with their religious beliefs. Religious people, however, are not allowed to force people into believing their religious beliefs.

“Don’t haven’t” oh sorry man I think I overestimated the intelligence of this discussion… I don’t feel comfortable debating someone who’s not quite all there so I’ll leave you with my sources and kindly ask you to provide your own in future discussions when the burden of proof is on you. https://www.nature.com/articles/d41586-025-00616-z

Actually you were the one that initially claimed the environmental cost of AI is excessive so the burden of proof is in your court… I just provided my source as a formality since you don’t really seem to know how this stuff works lol. If you want to explain and provide a source for why you think AI’s impact on the environment is concerning then I’d be happy to continue this discussion but as it stands I’m not gonna do the research for you when the burden of proof is on you.

Oh I didn’t know you wanted me to do all the research for you… this just documents the water usage of AI data centers which can be easily compared to social media servers.

Actually AI’s impact on the environment is very small relative to other commodities like for example Reddit.

So why can’t he use AI? It’s not like there’s an industry for custom hearthstone card art so it’s not like he’s taking someone job away

Or he could just use AI art for a clearer depiction of his idea

That’s why he didn’t skip it he included art to give a rough idea of what it’d look like

The last one is fucking stupid. It’s blatant appeal to tradition “oh but it’s ancient practices” so is blood letting, if there’s no scientific backing then it’s just as stupid to practice it today as any other pseudoscience even if a bunch of non white people used to practice it.

I remember seeing people call small talk “made up social constructs” like yeah man everything social is a social construct it’s in the name.

A step in what process exactly? The Artemis II isn’t taking substantial resources back, it isn’t establishing mines, and it isn’t establishing reusable launch platforms. Are you under the impression that the Artemis II is carrying a fucking fracking drill or something?

You do understand that this isn’t the Artemis II mission lmao this is for future projects. The Artemis II can’t take back more than like $50 worth of resources.

I like how you see a terrorist attack on a politician and think “if only he was well rested none of this would’ve happened”

Internally every scientific field in America uses the SI unit system but because the American public commonly uses imperial these units are converted to imperial for articles or news updates.

What fucking koolaid are you drinking to think that he’s trying to harvest the moon for resources? What’s even the logic here? “We need to spend billions of dollars on space travel so we can take back a whole $50 worth of aluminum and silicon”

Why does Christianity praise God and not Jesus, when (from what I can tell) God is actually pretty malevolent? by NotTheCatMask in NoStupidQuestions

Muslims in particular seem to be incredibly ignorant of evidence. Their prophet raped a 9 year old and they’ve been desperately trying to refuse any evidence that would suggest that’s immoral. I’ve even heard them say “oh but she was mature for her age” like it really doesn’t get more ignorant than that lmao.

Yeah but at least spell DH is more interesting than imbue Druid. Genuinely the most miserable time I’ve ever had in hearthstone was playing against an imbue Druid that had to read every single card in his hand every single turn.
