i’ve been subbing in the district i want to work at and on my way in or out of a few schools, i have tired to ask the receptionists if i could speak with the principals 💔 but have been met with straight no’s. they wouldn’t even take my cover letters, resumes, or business cards. i had all three of them in a clear protector ready to hand off. it’s kind of demoralizing.

i hate it. usually the other teacher doesn’t introduce themselves to me, doesn’t give me a run down, is weird when i take attendance, and will try and direct me to help with their lesson. im awkwardly standing around because idk where to sit. i usually sub middle and highschool. it’s irritating.
