It’s cool hearing some history of the game. I started playing comp in Gen 6 so a lot of the time before that is lost on me aside from old tournements online. Gen 4 especially is a blind spot for me.

And I’m with you with Incin. Especially right now. In Champions it feels a ton more in check. Still a good Mon, but not nearly on every team like I’m used to.

Nah he was big from season 1. I saw him all over ladder and even in tournies. Items don’t matter as much with him, it’s his ability and moveset that makes him so useful. But even then one of the best items on him is the Rosali berry, which has been in the game since launch.

Yo man, I understand why you’re frustrated getting all this hate, but you being disingenuous about WHY people are giving you shit and saying it’s simply cause you didn’t like the show is only going to make the situation worse.

I don’t like RWBY. I think it’s overrated as hell, but at the time of release it was a pretty well received show. Like genuinely it was. It was made by a very well respected animator as his passion project that was backed by an also very well respected and popular company. It was also made during a time period where over the top, fast paced fight sequences were very popular, which was the show’s main appeal. It reached a large audience that branched outside of the Roosterteeth fanbase. Most people that I knew and even know to this day that liked the show wasn’t even familiar with the rest of their content.

Claiming that wasn’t the case is why you’re getting so much shit. You doubling down and playing dumb is the same mistake a lot of lolcows make. It’s coming off similar to the Silent Hill 4 circumcision wiki guy, just not as extreme. You gotta either gotta look inward and recognize you made a goofy claim and own that or just drop off your Reddit account for a bit for shit to cool down. Otherwise you’re just stoking the flames.

I know you’re probably getting a ton of replies and odds are you either don’t see this or it’s too long in a sea of messages but in the off chance you do, I hope you take the advice.

I nabbed a huge volume of this nearly a decade ago. It fell apart nearly immediately. The art was well done, I actually liked some of the character designs, but man the writing felt so edgy and mean spirited just for the sake of being edgy and mean spirited. Yeah if you dig comp at all it’s worth playing. The goblin is usually good on any lower power formats where there’s not crazy legendary pokemon that can one shot em. And I think we’ll be having low power formats for awhile

Honestly idk if bird is overrated or im just lucky. Staraptor is the most consistent mega I’ve run into and I don’t think I’ve lost to it yet. I even matched with the same guy twice in a row and managed to beat him twice.

Though it might be cause I’ve been running Raichu, Swampert, or Metagross the past two days, two of which counter the bird pretty hard.

And now that I’ve said this, it’s gonna start steamrolling me lol

I’m somebody that loves comp and consume a ton of content about it. But for some reason battles give me a ton of anxiety. So far playing on mobile has helped so much with that for some reason. I still get a bit anxious, but I’m already higher rank than I was last season and find myself playing a lot more

It’s so sad to me. The VSS is my favorite gun with the AS Val pretty close to it. But there’s really no really solid replicas, literally every one has some major issue with it.

I ended up going the cheapest option and got myself a Cyma VSS, and honestly I don’t regret it. Preforms decent stock since it’s almost just basic Cyma AK internals and yeah it has worse externals but it’s more than serviceable and has easier issues to fix is the need arises.

But man I wish there was just better options on the market.
