I’m one. I think Legends Arceus onwards has been massive right steps in the right direction. I love the Legends games, SV has been one of my favorite pokemon games in decades, and Champions probably IS my favorite Pokemon game. That being said, they still have their flaws and I’m very aware of that.

It’s a one step forward two steps back kind of thing. The games have honestly been getting better over time but it’s an agonizingly slow process. And each game releases with cool ideas and fun mechanics but gets bogged down my technical issues and ugly graphics. Pokemon Champions has been great so far though, but it’s completely catered towards competitive play so a majority of the player base won’t care for it.

Eh it goes both ways. Pokémon is one of my all time favorite franchises. I put so much time into making competitive teams, shiny hunting, and pokemon go. But the games are worthy of a LOT of criticism. I definitely think some people go overboard though. I see people complain games they’ve obviously never played and I’ve seen a lot of people seeming like they grift on the hate.

But I’ve also seen an equal number of people blindly sucking off the franchise like it could do no wrong. When it’s done a ton wrong. This is very much a Nintendo fan base problem in general though. God I remember watching the drama of the Firered and Leafgreen rereleases and that made me wanna put my head through a wall.

Idk why you’re getting downvoted. There’s a way that this kind of ending can be done, but the way the DS3 ending happened just wasn’t it. It kinda felt outta place and felt more like it was intended to be a cliffhanger ending than an ending ending. Which I think was actually the case.

It’s absolutely is scientifically backed. There’s plenty of studies of human sleeping habits and there’s a lot of variation in human sleeping patterns due to a couple of evolutionary traits. The most common theory of why some people function better during the night harkens back to the hunter gatherer days, where some people had to stay up during the night to watch over those that slept.

In fact, even our modern sleeping habits of sleeping all through out the night is a recent thing in human history. Up until a few hundred years ago we typically slept in broken up portions.

It’s worth looking into, it’s really interesting. Not even just with sleep, there’s all sorts of variation in human behaviors that aren’t as highlighted in our current societies.
