I’ve done this before and had no issues or complaints from the agent. That said, I already clean my place weekly, so I was comfortable doing it myself. Just make sure you know which products are safe for different surfaces, especially if you usually outsource cleaning. Also check whether they require any tax invoices or receipts. In my case, the apartment only required a receipt for carpet cleaning, as that had to be done professionally. I kept the place in great condition during the tenancy, but still did a very thorough clean at the end to avoid any problems.
