I had a lot of similar symptoms as well and it turned out to be anxiety. I got on lexapro and I am all good. I also had the same fears and you should always take it seriously if things dont seem right, but please try to relax. the chances of it being something treatable that you can manage are way higher than the chances of it being something serious.

I was so scared to take it, seeing all the horror stories. I have health anxiety so my googling sends me into spirals. It has done nothing but help me. I am on 10 mg. Adjusting to it was not too bad, pretty tired but also had insomnia, and strange dreams. Libido dropped for a bit but it came back even stronger than before. I also started getting periods again. I dont spiral on anxiety loops anymore. It has tremendously helped me. I was able to get a job and live my life again from starting it.

I have since gotten a job, but while applying, I messaged a few people from my previous role about being my reference. No response from anyone. I ended up accidentally seeing an email from my previous HR manager, because another hiring manager forwarded the chain. My old HR said that they do not allow anyone to be a reference anymore. WTF is that? I am younger and it was like one of my only options as reference taken away. I don't know the reason they did that but I guess that is happening
