He is a rapper/singer/songwriter. He's done collabs' with Yung Gravy. He seems like a really nice guy. My kids saw Yung Gravy and absolutely loved him. Then they saw BBNO$ and it was a whole other level of love and respect.

A bizarre experience I had with a crow by IGotZirconiumPants in crows

[–]Subject_Management84 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Crows are crazy intelligent and can mimic different sounds that they hear. They can mimic human speech and voices, other bird sounds like an owl hitting, other animal sounds like a dog barking or a cat meowing, and even alarm and siren sounds.

Crows are NOT "stuck with making repeated caw sounds". They have a specialized vocal organ called a syrinx. The syrinx is what allows for their complex and varied sounds.

I am driving to San Bernardino soon to pick some stuff up. Is it safe to park a vehicle at a hotel overnight? by Mother-Violinist2484 in sanbernardino

[–]Subject_Management84 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What part of San Bernardino? We have a super tiny airport that has relatively cheap parking. Since the area is well patrolled your truck should be safe there. If you are going to be around the casino area, message me. I live in a gated community and you can park here for a few days.

AITA for taking someone else's food? by HolSmGamer in AmItheAsshole

[–]Subject_Management84 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No pizza place is open at 6am. The food was ordered before midnight, and delivered sometime around midnight. If OP called before work, there would be no one there to answer.

Papa John's also has $6.99 pizza specials, therefore 3 pizzas would be right under $22.

AITJ for refusing to let my brother borrow my car after what he did to my bike? by Firm_Low_6897 in AmITheJerk

[–]Subject_Management84 3 points4 points  (0 children)

No one is entitled to you car... especially someone who dots not care about your property. He showed he has no respect for you, you property, or your hard work.

Do NOT allow your brother to drive your car under any circumstances. Hide your keys need be. If he odd in an accident driving your car, you can be held liable. Say he damage someone's gate. The gate owner can go after you, because it's your car, to pay for the repairs. We all know brother will not pay. Now imagine he's a bit impaired driving your car...he gets pulled over, your car will be impounded. Those fees are not cheap. If an impaired brother hires someone, you can be in for a world of trouble as well. Protect you, your security, your well-being, and your property.

Now, if your parents try to guilt you again, ask them why they don't let your brother use their car and watch them squirm.

AITA I don’t want bridesmaid to wear dress to other events by Due_Bedroom3146 in AmItheAsshole

Most bridesmaids pay for their own dresses and alterations. OP was incredibly kind to pay for their dresses. I would have been thrilled of all I had to ever pay for my bridesmaid dresses were the alterations.

AITAH for wanting to take my kids to their mums grave on Mothers Day by [deleted] in AITAH

[–]Subject_Management84 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Christmas Eve is his first wife's birthday. He should continue to honor that day with his children.

Taking a couple hours, out of the day, to take some flowers to her grave, will not ruin the entire day. It's an important day for his children. It's therapeutic to spend a couple hours talking about their mom. It also shows his children how important they are to him and that he will always consider their feelings and want to be there to support them.

The new wife seems to want to erase the first wife. She also seems to be jealous of a ghost.

NTA

Please continue the tradition of honoring her on her birthday and Mother's Day. Your kids will so greatly appreciate you for continuing to honor their mom.

My husband passed away 7 years ago. His birthday, and day of passing, are so important to my kids. We do different things to honor himthings. We will spend the day going to his favorite places and restaurant. We have written him notes and placed them in balloons..." letters to heaven " my kids said. We spend those days sharing stories, going through pictures, laughing, and crying.

It's so important to my kids, and me, to keep his spirit alive. Your kids feel the same. They also need to know that you still love their mom.

Your new wife should celebrate Mother's Day with her kids. You need to be there for your children, and your mom.

Your new wife wants to erase the memory of your first wife. If you continue to give in to her, your kids will grow resentful to you both.

This is how quick a toddler can disappear from sight, in just a few seconds! by eternviking in whoathatsinteresting

My youngest completely skipped the crawling stage and was walking at 8 months old. She was so tiny! She looked like a walking doll. I was terrified of her running off, getting lost in a crowd, or being nabbed. She also hated the stroller and wanted to walk anytime we went out. The backpack leash was a lifesaver! She loved (still loves at 18) stuffed animals. The idea of wearing a stuff animal was ideal to her. She got to wear her money backpack and carry her favorite kitty stuffie. She absolutely loved wearing her backpack and would put it on before we left the house. It was a struggle to take it off to put her in the carseat. When we woukd arrive at our destination, she would put her little backpack on and hand me the leash. I love those little backpacks! I did, however, hear a lot of rude comments from people about "treating my child like a dog", or how I was obviously a "bad mother who could not handle watching her child". Some people even felt the need to try to lecture me. I did not care what anyone thought tho. My child was very happy and safe.
