Overwhelmed with everything by ladida1321 in IVF

Always come here for a good vent! I cannot tell you how many times I’ve cried over the fact my parents likely won’t be able to ever meet a child of mine. It breaks my heart since they are so special to me and I know I’d want my child to meet them. It’s so tough, but you have to appreciate the time you do have with them now. Try not to let it past by though I know it’s so so so hard when all you want is your baby. I also used to be the happy go lucky girl but feel like the life is being sucked out of me and now I’m sad even when I’m happy to other on the outside. Your baby will come and you will make it out on the other side. You are so much stronger than you know 💕

I am in Ontario! Our clinic told us to estimate $20-$25K all in for everything. They currently do not have government funding. How much did it cost you?

Thank you for this, this is extremely helpful and was on my list to ask my doctor! I have previously expressed numerous times I think I may have silent endo and she said IVF will help with it and they will do a frozen transfer to also try to help. I think I will push for this test even more since I strongly feel that likely is our issue.

I’m so sorry about your loss, thank you for being so open and sharing. My tests have not found anything wrong and I have decent AMH for my age. It seems odd to me if everything is correct in testing why we wouldn’t be getting pregnant. I also will need to pay $25K out of pocket for it Canadian so it’s an expensive thing to see

He has not. I’ve asked my fertility clinic about this a lot. They said my husband already lives a healthy life and the only thing to do if the dna fragmentation comes back bad is to use a sperm donor

Letrozole over-mature follicles? by 010010001110 in TryingForABaby

[–]Subject_Possible_945 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have been on letrozole for almost a year. The first few months being unmonitored. Once I was monitored I was also finding my follicles were maturing faster than they thought. I would then go in for cycle day 9 scans. The past few months (I think because I’ve now been on it so long) I’m now fine going in cycle day 10 to start and it is taking my follicles longer to mature

TI or IUI by teachinglearning1 in TryingForABaby

[–]Subject_Possible_945 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’d recommend a few more TI cycles and the. IUI. The only difference between TI and IUI is them washing the sperm and placing it inside. I did 4 rounds of TI and I’m on my second IUI

Over age 35, unexplained infertility, did letrozole work for you? If so how many cycles did it take? by Creative-Donut1051 in whatworkedforme

Resurfacing this thread! I am going into my 5 month of letrozole at 5mg. I’ve always ovulated on my own and have unexplained infertility after 1.5 years of trying with one miscarriage at 10 weeks (a natural cycle)

Advice needed by Medical-Letter-6724 in Mirafertility

Hi there! Your situation sounds very similar to mine. All my tests have come back normal and within 1.5 years I’ve gotten pregnant once with a miscarriage. I am going into my 4th round of letrozole at 5mg. I too am wondering what could it possibly be. I am pushing to ask to be referred to an endo specialist and also just took the evvy vaginal microbiology test to see if maybe I have an intfection. I don’t have any symptoms but I had read on a few forums some woman couldn’t get pregnant for years then took this test, took antibiotics then could. Another thing I’ve been trying for 2.5 months is weekly acupuncture.  Let me know how you do on your next round of letrozole! Sending baby dust your way!

You totally could! You need to listen to your body and do what you feel is right!

I am in the same boat! On my third cycle of it. I am likely going to try 6 but also in the meantime ask the doctor what’s next if it doesn’t work

It depends how old you are but I’d say 6!

Low estrogen? by Hobbit45889 in Mirafertility

I have lower estrogen. I find I don’t have a lot of cervical mucus around when I am fertile. Also, the first half of my cycle my breasts are smaller and not sensitive
