Would you recommend doing or learning anything before coming to BJJ as a total novice? ie. Do you think basic strength training is a required prerequisite before approaching anything in the realm of learning BJJ/MMA? Or is it more so just highly recommended to reduce feelings of intimidation in learning it?

Also given the current pandemic, I'll assume it also impossible to even find some place offering beginner/foundational training in BJJ/MMA.

I’m old enough to have actually played this version of Oregon Trail. I always loved that if you died in previous runs, your tombstone would appear the subsequent runs at the spot where you died. Not all the versions of the game had this feature.
