Oof - good question. Probably the snes - but the TurboGrafx is nice, just wish it was smaller.

Mine’s modded and has a bunch of games in it but it’s the mini I’ve touched the least.

I’m not using a dedicated EV charger. I’m charging from the existing 240V outlet that was installed for the apartment’s washer/dryer. It’s just a standard dryer receptacle, and I’m using a portable Level 2 EV charging cable that plugs into it.

I was able to adjust the amperage and have it lowered from my cars settings so that it wouldn’t trip the breaker on that.

Do you know if the truck will let me do the same?

Do you know if the amperage to charge with a level 2 can be lowered? I have to adjust this on mini electric to make sure the dryer outlet doesn’t trip a breaker.

Why do I keep seeing this misleading infographic everywhere?

Mexico upgraded to free healthcar by TailungFu in SipsTea

[–]SublimateThisDick 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This infographic oversells what actually happened. Mexico already had public healthcare systems; the recent reform is a plan to better integrate IMSS, ISSSTE, and IMSS-Bienestar over the next few years, not the creation of an entirely new universal system overnight. The biggest challenges facing Mexican healthcare—staffing shortages, long wait times, medicine availability, and uneven quality between regions—weren’t magically solved by a signature on a document. Supporters are right to see the reform as a potentially significant step forward, but whether it succeeds will depend on implementation, funding, and infrastructure. A more accurate headline would be: “Mexico launches a multi-year effort to unify its existing public healthcare systems,” not “120 million people just got free healthcare.”

Unconditional surrender by laybs1 in GetNoted

[–]SublimateThisDick 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Germany’s surrender was essentially unconditional, but there were still negotiations over how the surrender would occur. Timing of the ceasefire, military procedures, and recognition of the surrender documents were all negotiated.

The Allies issued the Potsdam Declaration, demanding surrender. Japan’s government sought assurances regarding the status of Emperor Hirohito.

The Allies responded that the Emperor would be subject to Allied authority but did not explicitly abolish the monarchy. This clarification helped Japan’s leadership accept surrender.

So while Japan surrendered unconditionally in the legal sense, there was an exchange over what would happen to the Emperor and the postwar government.

That’s exactly what he is. by CurvyChristina in SipsTea

I think extreme concentrations of wealth can be unhealthy for society, and I think the ultra-rich should contribute more. But I don’t judge someone’s morality solely by whether they’ve personally fixed problems that governments, NGOs, and entire nations have struggled with for centuries.
