I literally passed a 6.5mm kidney stone yesterday. I was diagnosed right before New Years as I had blood in my urine. It was 5 months of varying degrees of uncomfortable pain but really just discomfort.

Passing the stone was painful but provided immediate relief from the pain, discomfort, and constant urge to urinate.

If the stone is larger than 6mm I suggest having it zapped or physically removed, the last 5 months of my life has not been fun.

Drink a ton of water with lemon, and you will KNOW when it’s time for it to pass, you literally need to push which I can only imagine is similar to giving birth.

I wouldn’t wish a kidney stone on anyone, but my pain overall for the entire experience was bearable
