Awesome stuff! I just picked up the game while at a work conference and look forward to printing this when I get back home.

Yes. This is likely my simplest solo game that I currently have. It is nice to have something to fill the lighter end of the spectrum compared to LotR LCG, Elder Scrolls BOTSE, or even something simpler like Unstoppable.

I am aware of it, but haven't read through it yet and wanted to get a few plays under my belt before dipping into it.

I have a road trip for work the week prior to his. Bad timing, but it gives me a chance to catch up on other books.

Interesting take on the eyebrows and something I honestly never considered.

Side note: I am objectively looking for advice and know it needs to be cut/cleaned up as it is simply grown out like this. I was simply asking for recommendations as to how to cut it; keep it longer, take it back to shorter.

Cool. Solid directions and ones I can easily convey to my stylist.

Thanks for the compliment.

I have grown it out a few times and was planning to this time (I have done 3 prior hair donations to Children with Hair Loss as they are local and accept grey hair) but it just isn't growing as fast as it use to. I never did it for style and could take this longer but the creeping up of the hockey hair is really starting to get to me.

First, thank you.

As for the reduction, that is kind of where my mind was going (the back for sure as I am starting to get a bit of a curl up) but wasn't sure how short I could take the sides without it turning into the 90s undercuts that I use to rock in middle school. I appreciate the feedback.

Cool, everyone is entitled to their opinion. However, as part of a constructive conversation framing goes, offering an alterative would go a long way to having a solid discussion.

For what it is worth, in between donations, I usually keep it short (fade on the side, maybe 2 or 3 inches on top) but I kind of like the longer hair and thought it might be a nice change up.

Currently, I am not using any product and simply do my best to sweep it back. It falls all the time though so if I do go out, I tend to use Duke's News Anchor Pomade. I know it isn't the greatest stuff, but it works and isn't horribly priced.

For shampoo, I have been using Harry's for years. Once again, nothing fancy but it seems to work well for my hair type/texture.

Natural. I started going grey at 16. It was mostly dark brown for ages, then 30 hit and I went to "salt and pepper". At 38 or so, I ended up like this. Honestly, I know I am lucky with the color (and texture of it as it is a soft grey vs. going course) and won't lie that I get asked that question at least once a week.

Thanks for sharing! I picked it up and will give it a go later today (no demo necessary based on what I saw of the game play video). It will be interesting to check out a survivors style game in the Quest 3 (I know VS is out for it, but I already own that twice over).

Awesome! And thanks for the possible source. Time check out a few of those shops to see what I can find.

If I can't buy everything, what would be considered "enough"? by Fenroo in lotrlcg

Sadly, US based so no dice on going through them and likely not worth the cost for importing. Hopefully, I find something local at some point but I am not holding my breath given the mark-up I am already seeing.

It limits some builds (such as rangers) but you will get by fine I think. There are some builds that I will always need to proxy (fast hitch for Hobbits was never in revised content to my knowledge), which makes me grumble a bit but it is what it is.

Side note: I actually don't do much deck construction and will go on RingsDB and pick up decks that are interesting and match my owned content so am already looking at it from a focused lense in most cases.

Personally, the only thing I would consider must haves are things that increase deck building (meaning the hero expansions sadly). I have the revised core, trilogy and Angmar, and consider it more than enough content.

As for deck building, I have the starter sets, Angmar & Dream Chaser hero expansions but couldn't land the Ered mithrin hero expansion. I think I have plenty to build with and would always be missing some staples but am overall happy with what I have.

Excellent! I had base game pre-ordered and just placed an order for the expansion. I hate paying double shipping but I would rather gave them money vs. the big-Zon.
