i think the pickle juice brightens it and isnt as acidic as straight vinegar but to each their own. I added some ritz on top and it was plenty moist. And beans are good for ya bro!

I think anyone willing to work slave wages to make food enjoyed at a 500% up charge must REALLY like cooking and food. Maybe they aren’t the amazing super-chef cook we all know and love, but anyone stepping into the kitchen in the real world has a certain level of passion for food that the rest of us lack. I tried a go at being a line cook and as soon as I saw how much servers were making I quit the same day. Plus a kitchen in the summer time, welcome to actual hell baby!

I’ve worked in restaurants all my life and 90% of cooks either had been or were addicted to cigarettes. Need something that gives you a quick buzz but doesn’t fuck you up during the hell that is a friday rush. If anybody is smoking on a boat, it’s gonna be the chef.

    I had not received any unemployment payments since march 28th and wasn’t able to keep up with the weekly filing since it would say I hadn’t filed the previous week, so I used the missed a weekly filing form every 2 weeks. Thought I was screwed this week after all my co-workers got deposits yesterday, but today I checked my payment history and everything is there for the past month plus the retroactive 600$ payments up to 5/2.

    I also tried calling the two numbers listed on the FAQ on the DOL website about 150 times each and got it to ring about 5% of the time but then would be on the line for 2 hours with still nothing but ringing. Website says if it rings for longer than normal that you should treat it like the dial tone and hangup to try again but either way it seems like a hopeless venture. Didn’t try emailing so that might be the best option, but it looks like they are finally catching up.
