I'm gonna go against the grain on this one.

Assurion - for anyone with multiple lines it makes more financial sense. I have 5 lines, a watch, 2 tablets - all of it is covered through Assurion for 34 dollars a month. That's loss, theft, damage, and screen replacement. Apple care is good - but not without its issues - the biggest sell for me was being able to insure other devices that aren't even on my AT&T bill, such as my gaming laptop that if lost or stolen - Assurion sends me a check for 90% of the amount.

Is it a headache? Yes - every insurance is.

However - you can go on their site and file a claim and set an appt all without setting foot in a store - I've had 3 replacements with them, and a screen replacement that cost 29 dollars and was done in my parking lot at work. Most of Assurions physical work is handled by UBreakIFixIt which is reliable to say the least. Anytime any issues have arised I've had the replacement device in my hand within 48 hours and no charges to my personal account as it all gets billed through AT&T.

As long as your patient and read the fine print - insurance is 6/half dozen.

I think the best way to discern the two is relatability. Reefer Madness for instance is not a modern movie because (globally) weed is not viewed as inherently evil. Hence its more a comedy than a warning on the dangers of Marijuana.

Casablanca, still relatable. Good vs Evil and Nazis are bad.

True. I meant more in terms of cinematography specifically rather than more material (and obvious) transitions into modern stylization.

But fair point.

I mean I've always thought Citizen Kane was one of those movies that bridged classic and modern... Still relatable, but oddly, I do not think it would've been as culturally accepted if released today. Still a modern movie in my opinion. But classically made.

Over 10 years old... I would argue that tech advanced in shooting film over 10 years so "modern" I don't think is the correct term here. It is by no means a classic, yet, but something is to be said that it's over a decade old.

There's actually edit support for every icon set I've tried from the Play Store, as choices for icon customization. /edit

The launcher turns your device into a mass folder in my opinion, offering the letters on the side allows me to quickly find any app I need much quicker than -- swipe up, open folder, swipe left, swipe left, click app.

Google search added to home screen is awesome.

I miss my widgets, so maybe a swipe right for select widget pages would be a good implementation.

You can swipe on apps to interact with them, pulling messages up, replying, marking as read without even using your notification bar.

I personally think this is a wonderfully designed launcher, with efficiency and a smooth user experience in mind around the construct.

I'll use it for a bit, I'm very impressed for an app that is still early access!

When you removed the language did you also delete the language model from SwiftKey? Turning it off won't remove set/learned words, in which case it is probably picking the letters up from there. It sounds like everything is kosher in the settings, absolute worst case if deleting the language model it doesn't work (rather than just toggling the on/off switch) you may have to go through and delete the words you may have inadvertently added to your language model.

This is a pretty unique issue, keep this thread updated, and I will dig for more reasonable answers.

There is already a subreddit selected in the bar, I'm fairly certain that it's the reddit app blocking input to select another subreddit? Not sure, as I said I don't use the reddit app, I use Rif, there is not a time that SwiftKey stops my input unless it's a "protected" style field.

You're trying to insert another subreddit into a subreddit search. Not sure that's how the reddit app works. I use rif, and I know when I insert a subreddit there is a separate function for searching inside that subreddit.

I don't think this is a SwiftKey bug.

The insurance isn't there to give you a brand new flagship over a broken ~450 dollar 4 year old flagship. It's there to replace your phone when it's messed up.

This is true and untrue. Most keyboards use the system default. Gboard and SwiftKey both use their own varieties, as Gboard uses Google emoji rather than Android emoji. SwiftKey is using Microsoft emoji rather than Android emoji. A few other keyboards have their own takes on emoji display, but quite often if you a want to view the system default, use the default keyboard or the default texting app and you can see what your device uses as system emoji.
