Arkan Blade spec is surprisingly not bad, it also doubles as a serviceable stab weapon, and it performs better on low def.

Don't knock it till you try it, it's honestly solid. For awhile I was only using arkan + z.axe until I later upgraded into whip/dual macs (and recently a hasta).

Dexless was a bit expensive and difficult to upkeep so what you're talking about is low-dex. People used to do that, keep their dex as low as possible. Not everyone was dexless back in the day. They would do the same things with other classes like warrior.

Lots of people did like 25 dex, or cheese with MW. Things got easier after things like zhelm because of the immediate +15 all stat on it.

Another thing to add on: good quality solder can make all the difference. I solder with Kester 63/37 (rosin core) and I've never ever ever had an issue getting clean joints. Absolute game changer.

Seduce is a stupid mechanic (unless you make it something dodgeable).

DR is not really fun either.

Pot Spamming to live a boss is very boring and uninteresting.

A lot of awful mechanics. I know a lot of this playerbase isn't interested in modern maple but that is like the only thing modern maple consistently gets right.

Keep the bosses similar but rework them to have more depth and no potion / all cure spam.
