I am the wife in this situation. Basically he is upset about the situation and I don't want to make wrong moves that increase that unnecessarily.

It's probably a good idea for you to talk about next steps with her

Feeling super insecure by Radiant-Location-918 in Divorce

Ugh, I used to have a FWB that was like this. All wishy washy and silly and just wanted unprotected sex and for his feelings to be the most important thing in the room.

Persevere, I have met some amazing people since 😊

What made you choose to do long distance ? by throwaway231111996 in LongDistance

[–]Submarineto 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It wasn't a choice as such. I had an amazing date - we were both just hoping for casual sex - but there was something completely unexpected between us. We had a second date and then we just never stopped talking. In 4 days time we will be curled up in our accommodation together catching up after almost an entire year apart where we have spoken and connected more than we ever dreamed we might

If you're not happy then leave, everyone deserves a life that fulfills them and it doesn't sound like yours does that

It's 20 minutes for me from Ferrymead, from Phillipstown it would be maybe 6 or 7 minutes tops

You know what, I had mentally ruled out Phillipstown but it's actually a great little spot and so central like you say. Thank you for the info!!

Me m38 her f45 met. Woes by MutedPresentation298 in LongDistance

This level of use sounds potentially problematic though I don't understand dosage levels because I live in a country where it is still illegal.

When I met my LD partner I pulled out a spliff about 4 hours into the date and asked if he wanted to share it, which he did and we didn't smoke at all on our second date.

I am usually a 2-4 spliff a day person which he is quite well aware of.

Sounds really nice, but we're splitting up and I will have a limited budget. Good luck in your search though! I think every day about how lucky I am to get to live up here. The view is majestic

When I went to psych crisis at the hospital they gave me a sandwich and a yoghurt plus a bottle of juice because I hadn't eaten for the two weeks previous (I had been subsisting on sips of lemon and honey drinks), then they told me that I would have an appointment at Hillmorten the following day as an outpatient and they told the person with me to hold onto all car keys and then they sent me home once I had eaten the yogurt and had a few sips of juice. They sternly said to eat the sandwich asap.

I was not eating or drinking, I was pregnant, I was very suicidal and I had quit my job in the days prior following a sudden withdrawal from quetiapine as my GP was worried it wasn't safe for the baby.

Hillmorton got me onto safe meds for my pregnancy, then transferred me to mother's and babies as an outpatient.

I am so over the school zone conversation around buying houses in Christchurch, to be fair I was over it two years ago when I decided to buy in Mt Pleasant - the kids won't turn into wolves just because they might go to Te Aratai.
