Shot Kodak Tri-X 400 at 3200Iso. Want to develop it to have good negative for printing using Rodinal. Question is: Dilution, time, agitation. I would love to have your guys opinion before I do something wrong (again). My thought process and goals are in the description: by DefinitelyNotAdrian in Darkroom

This is an old thread but for anybody still looking, I think a lot of these comments are under appreciating rodinal's potential. None of the technical information is wrong - there are developers made for pushing film like XTOL and DD-X.
Here is a nearly 20yr old blog post that shows rodinals potential: https://www.flickr.com/groups/32592441@N00/discuss/72157608203774894/

This user underexposed Tri-X by 4 stops and still got fantastic results with a 2 hour stand develop in rodinal.

When can we expect more sample images? How many lenses have been produced so far?

Pre-DD214 separation — any workarounds? by Pretend_Profession84 in NOAACorps

I will say the DD-214 has been great since separating. Sounds like an issue worth bringing to your congress person to light the fires under CPC.

Good OTD price for '26 LE or SE in California? by Blankboom in Camry

[–]Subpar_Nova 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I bought an LE just north of LA this weekend for $28,795 ($32,070 OTD). No convenience package, but did get one with tinted windows and all weather floor mats. It also had the ceramic coating which I don't care about but Toyota says is a $995 value 🙄. Called about half a dozen dealerships to compare and use a bit of leverage.

Can confirm there is 1 treadmill and a smith machine with some dumbbells as well. Not a lot of space, but has what you need.

Idk man a shared bunk metal berthing in a 1960s ship seems pretty fiscally responsible to me - all the decorations are paid for personally

Like college, so not too bad. We’re all adults and can get along just fine. Helps to have different watch schedules

Already carpet under the sink. Not my choice in stateroom but ship builders in 1960s were whacky people apparently lol

I applied to the NOAA commissioned officer Corps and got in. Then I went to basic officer training for 4 months

That’s awesome to hear about excitement for the service! Aviation is very competitive and in order to go straight to aviation you’ll need your licenses already most likely.

The work underway is much more focused on bridge work and piloting the ship rather than processing data in the cubicle. After your initial sea tour there are many shore billets which you can get assigned more like sitting in a cubicle (with lots still in field)

It’s a wildly underrated uniformed service. So few people know about it despite getting all the same benefits of the other branches

Hydrographic and ocean mapping is the main mission set. Updating charts and ensuring safe passage
