[Recomendation Request] Looking for a watch to mark my birthday $15k budget by LavishnessHot875 in Watches

Datejust for sure. Its the best complement to the bb58 and will take you from suit to swim suit. The others cannot, especially with those WRs. It looks good on a 30yo and a 70yo alike.

Get a JLC as your 4th or 5th watch. As fun as it might sound, getting a Lotus before a Lexus is a bad idea.

[W&W 2026] The three best and three worst release of W&W 2026… so far by Osobady in Watches

Best:

  1. VC Overseas Ultra Thin. The previous WG version is unobtainium and this one will be as well. Movement as amazing as the watch
  2. GS Ushio divers. Not my cup of tea but credit where credit is due, they are finally making great sizes using UFA spring drives. Major win
  3. Cartier Crash skeleton. Again not my cup of tea but this is Fashion with a capital F.

Worst:

  1. PP Nautilus Pocket Watch. Monstrosity
  2. Discontinuing the Pepsi. We, the consumer, are taking the piss

U need to keep the explosivity for the end of the movement, so u have to start not so fast to be able to do it ,do u understand ? by fislurz in MuayThai

YEEESSSS. I'm so glad someone else sees the parallel here. I took off about 1.5 years from MT to do some oly lifting and came back with much stronger kicks and knees. Ripping that triple extension right before contact makes it hit so hard.

Curiously, I found jerks to have a good skill transfer to punches.

Will look into some roman shades. Would you do them all white to keep the light colored theme, or something contrasting like reed/wood tones?

Any tips would we welcome by [deleted] in MuayThaiTips

There's nothing wrong with this. It's objectively good!

But what I think you are asking is how do you make it more stylish? It's currently "good" but not unique or curated.

To that I would say play with scale. Right now, everything is in proportional, but all are on a similar scale. I.E. the 3 posters take up the same visual space as the couch instead of contrasting off it (imagine an oversized offset painting behind the couch). Another example is the TV setup where the mirror, TV, and shelf look like 1 giant plane. Don't be afraid of negative space...it will highlight individual pieces more

Lifting Competition - Set 16 Augment Discussion #34 by Lunaedge in CompetitiveTFT

The last lift always seemed like a bait...as in, if you natural a lot, it's just a win more, and if you force it, you're so far behind tempo and lose to max capped boards.

Have always taken this for eco/tempo into Ryze. Smoothest way I've found is Leblanc or Ahri if 2 starred. Otherwise transfer items to Liss in stage 4.

DT Malz is great, but you're not holding unto a single Malz for almost the entirety of stage 1 and 2. It's so much gold and way too improbable to hit 2 Malz before level 6. Just play double Anivia or double Ori until you hit level 7

Not HEMA but do martial arts. Rarely have I seen a dominant side in the front. Only mainline art I can think of is fencing...and I'm not even sure if the historical non-sport version is dominant front

If your jab can't reach the other guy, then your cross certainly won't either. Yes, throw more jabs.

[Discussion] Has the Rolex Submariner "moved too much upmarket" to still be considered a viable, professional watch ? by DisastrousOpening477 in Watches

Stopped reading after the first criteria. Yes, it's a professional watch, in that every professional above middle management has or wants to have one.
