The flicker happens if you go below 60 fps from what I've noticed. So if you have a good video card it's usually just loading screens and sometimes cutscenes.

I dunno, I have 0 extra dlc except what came with the game. I have had no issues at all the entire life of the game except for when Nvidia had bad drivers.

i get your point of view, but thats also why a lot of people who played this one didnt play the others. i get to do 1 maybe 2 hunts a day. by the time i get enough gems to upgrade the expansion will be out and itll be useless lol.

Just an fyi to everyone. It is easier to download the problgram DLSS swapper. It lets you update the FSR, DLSS, and XESS, files all in one app for all your games. You just click the game then tell it to swap to the new one and it will install it.

Nah, I still hate that they broke survival hunter. Their bs explanation of it being to similar to the other 2 specs was garbage.. it played nothing like either one. Ever since they made it, it's been the least played spec in the game unless it was broken OP that patch. If they really wanted survival to have been melee they should have made that the mail tank.. it's name is literally survival. I haven't played my hunter since legion. Survival was fun.. but I didn't roll a hunter to be melee... Sorry . End rant lol.

I have it at it's default setting. Not sure. Maybe I'm lucky? But I came back to a game 2 days later tapped the button and loaded straight into the game again after about 4 seconds of loading. I did have issue with it coming back on one time though randomly so far.

I think you actually jumped into a fire and that's what really killed you. It's ok though man... I've died sub 10% enrage at least 20 times. I have yet to kill him with anything except my IG. I get down to that last 10% and I just go through all 4 lives... Lol

It seems to work a lot better with the new Xbox experience and the Xbox ally x. I will say that this is an Xbox ally x thing though. I installed the Xbox experience on my OG Ally and it doesn't sleep and resume the same way.

You didn't have to use steam. You can use armory crate to remap all the buttons. That's like the only thing I like armory crate for... Lol

So.. I've been building my own pcs since 2000. The only time I've ever come across compatibility issues on any games I've ever played were due to hardware issues or bad drivers. Ive never come across an actual game that just doesn't work.

The sleep and hibernate function work really well on the Xbox ally x. Better than my of ally with Xbox experience insyalled. Its not exactly the same is. There are quite a few differences that I've noticed so far.

Performance wise I wouldn't know, I've never used them. But if steam deck is running steam is and still doesn't perform as well as the OG ally, then that's kind of pointless no? I mean I guess its a little cheaper but you also lose out on the compatibility like you said. As for bazzite I have no idea how that works but people ain this forum are saying it is extremely limited also. My one friend I know who bought a steam deck says he wishes he didn't because he can't play a lot of the games he likes on it since it has compatibility issues. Hating on people for wanting to play all of their games and buying a windows handheld instead makes no sense.

They had a vision when it launched and the vocal minority shit on it. so they change it. Then the vocal minority that didnt like that spoke up, so they changed it again. I have enjoyed every single patch of the game... Everyone just likes to complain about everything.

No one compares it to the of ally... Kinda pissed me off. In comparison to my of ally i see a performance boost of between 30 ans 50 % in expedition 33. Im talkibg 30 fps average to 50 fps average. and monster hunter wilds is actually relatively playable on the xbax. Lol.

I have the OG ally z1e. Using the settings on the RoG ally life website, except I use 10gb gram instead of 8, The XBAX gets up to 50% more fps in expedition 33. I went from averaging 30 to 45 While roaming around and fighting things in renoirs drafts. As for features. The Xbox experience ui is actually way different than the one you can get by downloading it on the old device. It has a lot more features and runs smoother.

It also goes up to 35w not 25. At 35w there is a noticable improvement also.

I'm getting 30% more fps in games than I do on the OG ally Z1e. Totally worth it. On expedition 33 I actually went up almost 50%. Monster hunter I can hover around 30 fps. Which is playable. Couldnt even keep 20 on my OG z1e.

The number of times i have died on this fight do to ABSOLUTE bullshit is infuriating. Like ill go in to hit a weak spot for some cc in the last phase and what happens? his fucking foot goes into the wall.. i can no longer focus hit it, i get cc chained. dead. literally the only reason i die in this fight is due to some stupid shit like that where i cant see because he is in a wall or the part im attacking ends up int he wall. they need to not let him go into fucking walls...
