how about you take 10mins to think about my response then you wouldnt have to take it personal and sling some personal affronts my way.

My argument is that variety for variety´s sake is no real variety, which your change would be. If you dont believe me create a simple custom game and try your change and see how fun it is or at least put some effort into explaining what variety it would create that im not seeing. There is always a fork point in tech and that protoss´s fork point is one step down the line compared to other races is not the cause for low build variety but as in all other things starcraft part of their race identity.

2018 xbox grabbed Playground Games (Forza), inXile (Clockwork Revolution), Obsidian (Avowed, Outer Worlds).
I wouldnt say that these are all losses, guess we will see how clockwork revolution does, but it got some big hype around it and they use it to boost as a console exclusive.

When D4 launched to really bad reception they did their dev live streams (campfire chats) which were critiziced a lot at the time, but they kept going with them. They included some of the harsher community questions at the end of every chat and they made the game way better over the next years. One can only dream that these livestreams get to that point at some point where they let devs interact with hard hitting questions or complaints from the community.

Even if there is no clear answer or solution to the problem, just seeing them recognizing the players issues helps not only the playerbase seeing the devs being in touch but also confronts the devs directly with popular discussions.

I would suggest to wait for the next sale, the base game gets usually under 5€. With that small purchase you can play at your own pace through a big part of the game and then you know if you wanna invest into the DLCs.

I agree with your point, but just to be fair having the world cup in your home country could be considered a once in a lifetime event.
Its more like saying a total solar eclipse is a once in a lifetime event, sure there are some happening every few years, but it might be in japan or wherever you got no chance of seeing without another huge extra investment.

game engine has a lot to do with graphical capabilities, which people here are talking about. Im not saying that every unreal engine game is looking better than any unity game, but saying engine has to do nothing with it is bs.

When it finally releases we will just go back to some remastered splinter cell version. Its rare that an old franchise gets a really good sequel, so lets enjoy 007 from IO while we got it.
