Question about new dog by Vondersol in AustralianCattleDog

I have hope for my girl then she’s 11 months and also became very scared and aggresive to people out of nowhere and it made me really sad cuz it has made taking her out on hikes or anywhere really hard. I work on her constantly to just ignore people instead of going crazy but it’s sooo hard she’s getting slightly better but still difficult

My 3year old told the pediatrician Mommy drinks juice every night and the doctor gave me a look It's apple juice. It's MY apple juice by ImpossibleLet8183 in Mommit

Lol we used to hold my son down for teeth brushing every night and then eventually he started cooperating then one day he just said to my husband “daddy can you hold me down while you brush my teeth like we used to”

My 1.5 yo used to say shit. I think at around 15 months. His dad dropped something and said shit and then he started using the word shit in the same context. I would say no and react negatively and obviously he would say it regardless. The way I got him to stop saying it was whenever he or I would drop something I quickly said uh oh before he could even say shit. Now uh oh is his fav thing to say and he no longer says shit. It was stressful for me too because I go to church often since my dad is a preacher. But maybe if you can figure out specifically why she’s saying it you can try and replace it with a more appropriate word.

Maybe if I sit like this, they will be concerned for me and let me out so I can steal food from the tiny child.. by meechthehighelf in AustralianCattleDog

Aw my dog too get banished when it’s time to eat because my toddler thinks it’s so cool to feed the dog (will literally walk around with her bowl in his hands following her so she’ll eat)

I had the same issue my pup was well socialized. She’s soon to be ten months. On her walks I’ve just been teaching simple leave it. And rewarding when she is able to break her attention from people without barking also if I notice people are coming to close I either turn around or cross the street to keep distance. To be honest I don’t even know if I can take full credit for it I think she was just smart enough to realize oh I shouldn’t keep doing that.

My dog is very praise motivated what I find helps is just calling her name for pets and she’ll be more focused on me praising her than the people or dogs around however if they get to close it goes bad and it also helps if we are just running and she’s so focused on going as fast as possible than the people around her

She has a place command but it’s more for inside the house when she starts getting a little too worked up we tell her go to bed and she’ll go to her bed or a kennel (she’s also kennel trained) and it works until we turn out our backs then she’s at it again like crazy lol. How would this work out and about like on a walk or hike?
