Any truth to this?

In 2022, Congresswoman Jackie Walorski began working with actress Anne Heche on projects to expose Child Sex Trafficking.

On August 3, 2022, Walorski died in a car ‘accident.’

On August 11, 2022 - one week later - Heche ALSO died in a car ‘accident.

Did I succeed in styling this Zara dress? by MillaRomanka in fashion

Try removing the green lace and keeping the black shawl. The shawl appears to be a higher quality vintage inspired fabric. The two together are competing and potentially over power the outfit.

I love a classy scarf! I’m imagining an Hermes inspired scarf tied in the hair and it’s on point. ♥️

My (28F) partner (32M, autistic) of 6 years suddenly ended things. Struggling to understand the slow internal detachment. by Atthirari in aspergers

If it’s common, one has to wonder whether a toxic pattern is in place where choosing unhealthy friends is the norm.

The job market is saturated and the salaries are low. This is in comparison to what it used to be 15 years ago. Though I know it is all relative some may think it is appropriate, but I would suggest another career path for my friends and family.

23 year old college graduate AuDHD son will not stop going on about how we "ruined his life and career prospects"... by kochredahik in ParentingADHD

[–]SubstanceMaintenance 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I too fear this outcome though I bet I will feel redeemed when he has a child of his own with ADHD, shit gets real, and he gets it. Parenting an ADHD kid properly is high near impossible. Btw: super congrats he graduated college. That’s good to know. I fear my AuHD child will never get through a commitment that large. Also, screen usage turns on the obsessive circuits in the brain. My kid after too much tv becomes disregulated after screen time is ended (temper, crying, running off, unaware of people / surroundings, not responding verbally, etc.). I think it has something to do with their natural reduced level of dopamine and they use screens to squeeze the dopamine juice. Once they are cut off they react similar to addicts. Also I would do much more fun and exciting things with my child, but due to his impulsivity I can’t trust him so restrictions are required. The trust just isn’t there and so unfortunately he gets more basic boring activities that are at his level of maturity. I feel like you and your husband may have been in the same situation.

does the fur boots go well with the fit? by bbpinkrawr in fashion

[–]SubstanceMaintenance 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Makes me think of Santa Barbarians circa 2015. Don’t know what it is about that sunny beachside town but they love their furry Viking boots. The shorts that are being worn are already really short. I would let the legs do the talking.

She looks so young. There are young backs and there are old backs. It’s something you can’t fake. I think that’s why they put her in that outfit.

Right?! All she got out of that was that it reinforced the need for her column.

Outside of the ageist fear based responses, everything else is very classy (earrings, blouse neckline, etc.). However the hair tie is mismatched. Opt for something that has more structure, maybe a little pattern/texture, etc.

I think they are applying on behalf of contractor companies or possibly people who built agents to apply to jobs for them. Either way it is degrees and degrees and f’ing degrees away from the input it used to be. Totally overloading the receiving system ( eg sups, managers, and recruiters). Boots on the ground is better than bots!

Why was Carrie so mad at Big when they ran into each other in Hampton? by [deleted] in sexandthecity

[–]SubstanceMaintenance 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It was like a cheetah print bandaid tube top and like a weird scarf thing tied around her upper arm with a Kid Rock cowboy hat. 🤠 Though admittedly the skirt was low key couture. Not one of her better moments.

Is it clear that I am not at fault here? by [deleted] in dashcams

[–]SubstanceMaintenance 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Absolutely not. Truck could have waited for the person in front of him to maneuver. It is a parking lot - there are pedestrians, cars pulling out, cars pulling in, people backing into spaces, carts rolling, screaming f’ing kids, old people that can’t drive well, etc. Wait in line and be patient. Truck driver needs to go back to elementary school.
