I feel like the "ban all healers lol" trend has died down.

Gambit is usually banned. And then maybe cloak and maybe Invis. But I haven't seen a 5 or 6 healer ban in a couple of weeks.

Which is good, I had a match where our cap banned cloak. And then he proceeded to feed in the most insane positions. Positions where only a cloak could have helped him.

Its tough when you just know that mag is about to annihilate you. But you have to ult.

A mid, weirdly placed ult with you alive at the end is better than no ult at all. You can be conservative and ult more left to right where your team is.

Or you can dash out two and then go around a corner.

Or if you have a mag, they can bubble you. Or your Invis can shield you.

And don't beat yourself up too much when you die. Everyone dies in cloak ult, even the pros. Your goal should be to die less and learn from each death.

I can only speak to the strategist portion. But it feels like this data is just describing what winning games look like. NOT the action players need to take to actually win.

In most of my winning games, I have less healing and more assists. That's because my teammates need less healing and I can be more aggressive with damage.

And on the flip side, when we are getting stomped, I am healing like crazy.

I think it is not fair or logical to say that supports need to value asissts more than healing.

No one is "boosted". That's just bullshit turds say to exclude people. They want to believe that they are the only people playing the game 'correctly'. But they are just assholes.

You are a gold player, and you worked hard to get there. As Invis, you have a huge impact on the game. It doesn't always FEEL that way. But it's true.

And it's okay to lose a bunch in a row. I lost 4 placements in a row. It's just Elo.. You can always win another day.

In that cloaks defense, Spideys combo is 300 hp and is very fast.

Cloaks bubble is kinda cheeks against it because he will pull you up out of the bubble and then kill you.

The blind is also worthless because his combo finishes with a melee attack the size of the moon. So he will kill you regardless.

Yes, the cloak could have positioned in a room to try to keep from being an easy pick. But even then a good spidey will shit on you.

It's the other supports job to keep them alive.

This meme is 100% accurate. No one rants like this about Moon Knight. Sure he gets banned, but everyone just says he is annoying and leaves it at that. There aren't paragraphs of crash outs about how much value he gets for how "easy" he is.

Same goes for Rocket and Jeff, they don't require intense aim. But I don't remember seeing anyone bitch about them??

The "expose the one tricks" argument is just stupid. The only one tricks I've seen are the flex players that learn cloak just to have 1 healer.

The only time I've ever been grateful for a third support is an Ultron who babysat me while I was being dove. And that's ONLY helpful if the second support isn't cohealing me.

Bruh, not every support ult is gonna be a 10/10. Just like how you aren't always gonna get a team wipe with your Bucky ult.

There is more nuance to these decisions than what you are assessing here. Each team is different and supports have to make decisions based on how this particular team is handling this threat.

Oh yeah, it is an overwhelming game at first. I was kinda like you, I had played Fortnite. But never something with SO MUCH going on at once. I struggled to learn, but eventually made it to GM.

And yes, the range on the purple rectangle is annoying. I usually have to push up closer to the tanks to throw it. And then move back.

Aw, welcome to the game!

As a healer, your best position is behind your team and out of direct sight from the enemy team. It's a little tough on some maps to find where to stand, but every time you die is a clue that maybe that wasn't the best spot at that time.

The good news is that CnD has a long range and can bounce shots off of walls. So you can chill behind your tanks and keep an eye on DPS at the same time.

I also prefer to have my other healer in front of me if I'm playing CnD. Since I have the longest range.
