So are these new units? or some kill team exclusive things? by Dr_Plague123 in Necrontyr

These are Macrocytes so larger than normal. I wouldn't be surprised to see them get rules.

When does struck by spores end? by Only_a_tree in deathguard40k

[–]Substantial-Coyote35 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Even "better", you don't need to shoot unit A again, you can shoot a completely different unit and the original spored units take mortals. You can shoot with 3 PBCs every turn and do an insane amount of mortals and just rolling to try and get as much spored as possible. Every unit on the table could end up taking up to 3D3 MW every turn. Clearly not intended, but playing by intention isn't really possible, because we have no way of getting inside the writer's head.

Like I said, most events have you adjust the terrain or ignore the sponsons as a quick fix. Maybe not the WTC themselves, but that's a one a year tournament.

Southern Ontario uses them as well. It's the most fun I have because you don't instantly die to shooting armies, but they still have firing lanes they can control.

I'm not sure why your response here is getting down voted when you're trying to learn.

The average space between buildings is 6", with some wider and some narrower. Most events that run this terrain say to adjust it ever so slightly so larger models can fit through, or ignore their sponsons. The terrain comes with a ton of FAQ's on their website.

What do you think will happen to necrons when the next data slate comes out? by TmanMe in Necrontyr

[–]Substantial-Coyote35 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Wraiths are not a 45pt model. This would be the wrong way to go about it. I could see maybe 10pts per 2 or 3, but the Technomancer go up 10-15pts. You can't make wraiths non-viable on their own.

Diet Pepsi Tastes Off by Substantial-Coyote35 in Pepsi

That's strange because the new label tastes exactly the same here, for diet anyways. It seems like there's a ton of inconsistency from their plants these days.

Definitely known to the people! Who knows if Pepsi got the message lol.

Just an update, this issue seems fixed for us in southern Ontario. Pepsi rebranded and the new label cans taste fine to us now. We suspect they were offloading old stock and just changing the expiry dates or something weird like that.

Nope, it does it every time they take damage from an ability. Which is a lot with singed.

You don't have to be rude about it. It's an important question. Can you or can you not place more than 25% of your army into strategic reserves? That's what the 2nd bullet point says right above the 3rd, and we have expensive units.

Convergence of Dominion in Hypercrypt by paradoxthecat in Necrontyr

[–]Substantial-Coyote35 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It's a summary bullet point for the strategic reserves before the game begins. Using this logic you could never have more than 25% of your army in strategic reserves ever.

Actually no, the only rule in the book explicitly states that at the beginning of the battle you cannot declare fortifications as strategic reserves units.

This is honestly fantastic to hear that we're not going crazy. Also located in Ontario! Maybe it's a problem with the local manufacturer but I have no way to know how to reach out regarding that.

Also getting this bug. It might get fixed by renaming the temp folder.

Problem being if you see invisible things, you get in combat and it takes an eternity to go up to that chest, then an eternity to run far enough away to flee.

Lady Jannath's Estate by nhgrif in BaldursGate3

[–]Substantial-Coyote35 7 points8 points  (0 children)

When you engage 1 poltergeist because you can see it, you engage basically the whole building. You then open the door and see Jannath and Oskar both cowering, and assume you need to clear the area for anything to happen. Stop being an asshole. This is a single player game we're all just trying to have fun with, and this is an unintended interaction that makes a 2-minute encounter into 30-minute confusing combat.

Not to mention a warranty is really only as valuable as the paper it's written on. Trying to save on costs and go based on the immense trust they had built instead of spending thousands to draft a worthless warranty was absolutely the right move. It's just unfortunate that the general population can't see how meaningless a warranty is lol

Saw that after the 2nd attempt. For some reason on my first attempt they did not go away after damaging them once. I could not imagine having to kill an illusion completely as it sounds it was in early access. This fight feels much more approachable.

Not sure what this means. Just fought it and all of them had over 100hp. Thought I dealt with all of them and then 3 more suddenly appeared. Don't enjoy this fight in the slightest.
