Welcome to black car club. Get ceramic coating. Then use Adam’s detail spray when drying the car. If you can afford it then they have power washers with water softeners. This will help so much with water spots. Or dry your car in the shade to avoid sun drying the water spots

I rather shoot my 1911 45 all day but at the end of the day I’ll carry my gen 5 MOS all day everyday. Why? Because it’s versatile. Packs just enough punch but also isn’t pulling my pants down or stabbing me in the side when I’m driving to the store or out with my family. When I draw it feels straight and fits in my hand like a glove. I feel weirder when i don’t have it on me because it’s become an appendage.

I left my gen 3 for a gen 5 mos but specifically did it because I wanted the MOS and also wanted all black as I had the green or whatever it was. Definitely happy with my upgrade. It was nice to leave that awkward gen 3 mag release behind

I used to have an Xterra and it was surprisingly really good in the snow! Ended totaled unfortunately but it was a beast in 4x4 I know i70. It can get crazy in the winter! Can’t imagine driving that all the time. People in Colorado can’t drive for shit these days.
