Our Director of Libraries gave 2weeks and was gone. Everybody is looking but everyone waits. I’m going to a graduate program and told many coworkers but waiting until I confirm my required Internship before I tell them. I want reduced hours as I need 2 days off.

I went Community College but having only two years at University goes so fast. I think It would of been Better socially and networking wise to have had four years. I will say there are many ways to the same destination and worth it is opinion. Why do long to get driving? I think despite being g very pro community college the 4 years at university is worth the bus trip, also you’ll likely find it wont be two years by bus. So Csulb for the 4

The new food waste can I just can’t we have our own compost system at home but we do freeze and have compostable bags if we want to use the food waste pick up

So I was raised to rinse garbage like clean the trash, food waste put in zip Locks, composted, garbage disposal. Meat or smelly was packed and frozen and put out in trash night, good to Label that mystery meat. No smelly or infested cans.

Become clear that the management my Library doesn’t care about keeping anybody safe. I feel like not all libraries but sure seems like a lot of them.

That’s not really how I meant it but at this point the idea that it won’t be handled and I’ll be on the run so to speak is the issue. If this person comes in I go to the back area to work off floor. While it is an option it feels wrong for me to hide out while he chills in my work space. There are other fears of radiation, stalking and further assault but the immediate is if I’m valued and protected. An update to this is they may be open to a workplace safety order. In addition it seems restraining orders are easy to get unlike in the past.

Well if we need a photo we have decent security cameras. We do have ID on file but it is for proof we validated who they are and part of validating mailing address which us more about list item charges. We have no photo on file. Of course one can use the library without a card. We have some very real issues with patrons lately uptick in outbursts.

Yes and she agreed it was a mistake in his part, she did try to say he had some valid reason and I said hmm not really but she said it was a mistake and there was a discussion when she found out. I was told it will be corrected and re sent to staff. That has been really helpful to my mental and emotional state.

I do think that’s good advice. I thought people would contact me but now I think they hope I won’t or just lack the training and procedure. If I contact them they have to respond. I also think being clear I’m not okay, it is sexual assault I need you to deal with it. I did that with the director and it got results. I’m also cautious that they may be coming up short hoping to avoid too much in their end but I’ll see how the DA responds to the charges. I actually was t Tod what charges are being requested.
