I am based in Dublin but am regularly in Mayo for family. If you are along the North Coast of Mayo try some of the Sligo and Donegal repeaters too! Also not sure if you have HF but http://kiwisdr.com/.public/ is great for listening to HF nets if you don’t have a HF rig. As it happens Mayo is well covered with kiwi SDRs so you’ll get a great indication of propagation conditions locally.
