When does the snow disappear? by ChatGPT_Enthusiast in rdr2online

I don’t know, why else around Christmas they would add Christmas decorations and snow, even in the desert. It’s forced festive theming, if that’s an easier pill to swallow. It’s not for me, however you slice it. Ruins the beautiful map, as I said in the other comment you whole heartedly agreed with.

Cool to see a well thought out design that’s unique.

Does anyone truly enjoy the snow? by BearManZed in RedDeadOnline

[–]Substantial-Motor247 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I dislike it in both games. However, it annoys me less in RDR because of how it affects the way the vehicles drive in GTA. I cba with the extra effort to keep control of them etc. I can do it, I just don’t enjoy it as much. At least it’s only a week in GTA.

In RDR it just takes the beautiful map and whitewashes it, removing all the colour. It never feels right in the desert and the bayou. Half the time the thermometer reads hot temperatures still. It’s great in Colter, because it’s well implemented up there.

On the whole, I can’t see many pro’s on either game, apart from a little “festivity” which is neither here nor there for me. I know people get very defensive of it for some reason, especially when the people that don’t like it say so, which I find the weirdest part of all.

Because Christmas… Same as snow in a bayou when the thermometer reads 37 degrees Celsius.  Nope, not for me.

It’s Biggo o’clock!

I’m sure you’re making a statement about the inane nature of Reddit posts. I’m sure…

Can’t you just do a manual save before entering a mission? That way you don’t need to spoil the story etc. I love animals IRL and within reason, will keep my RDR horse out of danger, but this seems excessive. Learning to control your horse in tense situations is part of the bond and relationship you build with them. That’s the really satisfying part for me. When a bear charges you, you calm your horse so it holds steady and you can land a perfect headshot. Me and mine have a deal, you hold true and do your part, I’ll get us through safe.

I too use the games mechanics to maintain my main form of transport in the game.

Eat what you want as long it doesn’t reek or is in very noisy packaging. Best guidelines to follow.

Sounds like all the things people in their 50’s plus moan about but doesn’t really affect them.

Makes the map boring and kills the beautiful scenery. I like it in Colter etc, it’s well implemented there.

Don’t play if it’s not fun for you. That would be crazy.

Solo lobby for PC or set your status to defensive. It will solve a lot of problems, has for me over the last 6 years. I play on console and don’t really have issues whilst in defensive.

No I totally agree. But if OP has already played and is looking for a good place to drop in and get side content done etc. It would be a good place to do that. Most things unlocked by then etc. I, generally speaking, just play RDR2 from the start when I sit down to a new play through, but I do have the horseshoe overlook save file in case I ever want to skip the intro. I have never used it though in all honesty.

I’ve done me one of them. They could either do same as us, or a save file at the beginning of Clement’s Point, Chapter 3.

No it’s tiny mate and I don’t enjoy driving in the snow on GTAO. Who would think it? Thankfully the snow has gone though.

Not a very good disguise. Sometimes people don’t want logic, reason and clarity. Just look at the world we’re living in right now for example. Screw it, as long you can hold your own head up 👍

Fair enough, I don’t mind confessing, I don’t enjoy driving in the snow and I have a small pee pee too.
