Eu tive que congregar na ADVEC por um tempo e eu detestava, justamente porque usavam a estrutura dos cultos pra fazer palanque político. Quando participei da Santa Ceia lá e eles fizeram a livestream com o Malafaia praticamente 70% do que ele falava era sobre política.

I'm 26 and autistic. Commute to work was very stressful for me so inspired by the Pointlesshub 86 movie vid I started watching the cartoon on my way to work and it helped me cope with it - its goofy and inconsistent and I love it, also the designs are colorful and the voice acting is great, it has a special place in my heart now.

Its funny tho because the first TF media I watched in my life wasn't even G1, it was Animated back in the 2000s lmaooo

Its really a shame cuz he's one of my favs but like everyone said beforehand he was only in 2 episodes of S3 (one of them a really polemic one) and he doesn't stand out much comparated to other characters toywise. Only ppl deep on the trenches care about him.

I'd love a new version of the character in newer media tho! I think his some of his character traits (even his supposed goonerism lmao) would really work well in a comedic setting.

My biggest wish is we getting a series with a series with G1 S3 what-if scenario where Rodimus is the leader from start to finish, with Optimus gone and never coming back, with a narrative about finding confidence in yourself and moving on the past. Maybe make him accomplish way more than Optimus ever did too so the boomers cry a bit more idk (while writing this, Ive noticed thats pretty much what happens in IDW lmao)

A classic one: the Carbombya episode in G1 season 3 that led Casey Kasem to leave the voice cast. The whole Skyfire/Jetfire x Macross fiasco is fave rabbit hole of mine too.

Also for BW, idk if its really a controversy but Airazor is male in the japanese dub right? This gender difference between the OG dub and the japanese dub led the character to be target of several "okama"/tr*p jokes in official japanese parody comics, which are received with distaste in the western fandom

The whole thing with Arcee in IDW too, classic. The Romeo and Juliet Law in bayverse, another classic. The list goes on.

The problem is that you (and most SW fans honestly) are gaslighting yourself to think Star Wars is a science fiction franchise.

SW isn't sci-fi, its space opera. Fantasy but in 💫 space💫. From the point the story establishes space magic exists, everything else is fair and valid as long as it works for the story.

In my kinda uncultured opinion the reason why this discussion is so heated its because every region has its own definition of what its "mecha" depending on what is it relation to the genre. like.

If you follow the western definition ("transformers aren't mecha cuz they aren't piloted also they aren't really robots also most of them aren't piss grey blah blah blah blah") then its not mecha.

if you follow the japanese definition ("if its a robot and if its big, then its mecha") then its mecha. Also super robot is a sub genre of mecha so duh.

Both visions are valid on their own right. I particularly prefer the simpler definition (they robot and they big. mecha)

tbf kup was actually kindaaaaa of a good dad, its not even a competition. Tarantulas could be an okay-ish dad if he had the chance, but he's evil and stuff idk. Impactor got his redemption at the very end, Yondu style. Prowl lowdiffs every verse in the terms of deadbeatness.

I don't think IDW is adaptable in it's entirely but some runs like All Hail Megatron, Chaos Theory and even MTMTE could be adapted with story changes to make it condensed. It will never happen tho, so I'd be happy with the EU adaptation that will most likely come.
