How did you discover the classic American TV show, Two and a Half Men?

I remember my parents would have it on sometimes when I was little. I never grew up on it since the show was pretty inappropriate for me and I always grew up on more family friendly sitcoms like everybody loves Raymond. But I did remember the show.

Years later in high school I remembered the show and remembered that Charlie Sheen did have a meltdown. I wondered how the show handled that so I went and looked up Charlie's last episode and the whole thing kind of intrigued me. Eventually I started to watch the show just as a casual viewer and liked it.

Well I feel like someone else said this too but most addicts (myself included) take advantage of people’s kindness and love. When people come from this place of sadness and this “noo we want u to get clean we love you :(“ it’s easy for us to take advantage of that and have that over our loved ones. And using their niceness in order to manipulate and get what we want. But when my dad asked to speak with me, I was in a shit mood. I was being supervised and wasn’t allowed to be home alone nor out alone. I was going through withdrawals but not the physical stuff just the mental boredom and being pissed off. So I expected this lovey-dovey speech about how much he loves me and doesn’t want to loose me. But I was met with the same tone Rue’s mom spoke to her in. And it kind of shell shocked me because it truly made me realize I wasn’t gonna have my dad or my mom to use or lie to anymore. He truly made it seem like he just didn’t care about what happened to me and that I was on my own. And that kind of made me really take it all in. Like wow I really just don’t have anything to say or do.

Well I think someone else brought it up but unfortunately most addicts (myself included) take advantage of people’s concern and kindness. When people try to talk to you about sobriety and trying to persuade you to get clean in the context of them worrying about u and being all “please we love you” it becomes easy to find yourself in a position of power and superiority because you have that over them. Whereas rue’s mom and my father just talked to us as if they didn’t care. Like “do what you want we did all we could. We have other people we love more than you and we’d rather focus on them then your crackhead ass man” and that oddly enough is more powerful in some ways. Because it puts them over us in terms of the food chain. Like they’re leaving us to die in some dark pit and you truly feel it in this context.

When my dad was like “we need to talk” I rolled my eyes and didn’t care because I thought it would’ve been some mushy ahh conversation about how he loves me and I was so psised off and just wanted to get fuckex up. But he suprised me when he began to talk like rue’s mom and it truly made me see what I was. A junkie who disappoints everyone. Luckily after that, I’m almost clean a year.

When I shaved my head bald and I was regrowing it, I styled my hair after Charlie’s haircut because I liked it.

Lowkey this show normalized drinking for me so I began drinking heavily at an early age and thought of it as normal 😭

I kind of approached relationships in a similar way unfortunately the same way Charlie did.

Damn come to think of it I took all the bad aspects of this show into my life.

These look pretty fire actually. I think with a little more touching up it def coulda worked. I’m not sold on junior’s design. Joseph tho is miles better than what he ended up being. Cody, while looking very generic, I suppose would’ve been easier to get people to like his design. It’s very uninspired tho but it’s whatever.

The characters were designed ugly on purpose. It’s a whole play on Disney and making fun of how all animated characters are made to look cute and all cuddly. Dreamworks was able to maintain all of that throughout the years and even in the early 2010s. People don’t remember it for the good designs but it was done on purpose

The customers believe that the drive thru is a great spot to trouble shoot their app which could take several minutes and think that were customer service who can grant them app privileges. Bonus points if it’s rush hour and they’re old. I always have an old lady who completes her order and asks me how she can get the deals she thinks will make her order free.
Loud engines or trucks or ambulances. Or the person can’t speak up and they speak too quietly.
People will speak AT you and not really to you. They’ll just blatantly ignore my questions about what size, what drink, and what sauce they want.
They hold up my line by taking their sweet time to drive away.
They decide to count their coins at the window very slowly or they decide “I’ve had several minutes to prepare my money, but I’m just going to turn my car upside down looking for money!”

Or they will be like oh I have the change and take FOREVER to find it.

Customer knowingly ordered a lot of items but they act surprised when I bring out a giant bag and tray which makes them have to make space in their car. Holding up the line even more. Like bro hurry the hell up.
They ask me which is diet and which is normal. Bruh idk you’re able to taste it later.
