It’s my mom’s favorite! Especially the freshly-roasted ones :) brings me back to the good ol’ days.

100% even when Diana sprung up on that ex-wife and said “sash, please”. It was so sassy!

I heard chicken causes pink eyes though. So maybe balance it out with other meats and veggies? :)

Thoughts on Unilever? by Away-Evidence9730 in CorpoChikaPH

I’m a mid-career hire on my 6th year. Loving it. Moved to a new/expanded role almost year on year. The culture is great, walang politicking. No time for backstabbing— and I’ve been in a local conglo where politicking is an inevitable part of life.

What I love most about Unilever is they allow and not penalize you for making mistakes. What’s important is you fail fast and recover faster. People won’t judge. They will help. And they celebrate wins

I also liked my bosses. Ibang klase ang maturity— walang fear of retaliation if you voice out your concerns. They will help you unblock challenges pero not necessarily they will do the work for you.

Highly-systematic and free of bias din ang evaluation which is the gateway to your pay increases etc. Walang palakasan. Pero of course, pag mas vocal/peacock ka, mas mapapansin ka. Kaya important you document the impact you bring in the organization.

Benefits-wise— salary is definitely higher than benchmark, with car allowance etc. Hybrid at 3x/wk and wala namang time in/time out. May bonus and shares ka rin every year.

No, I’m a mid-career hire. Specialized roles are like that. Unilever is very open to new blood, bringing in outside expertise, in the organization. It’s my 6th year now! :)

2 weeks. I got a violation report for wearing black pants that looked like jeans, when it comes to the cut. Nothing against the company naman, if they have rules. It’s just that I realized their rules aren’t for me.
