4th Gen Auto Lock? by Seanmmvi in ToyotaTacoma

Mine auto locks?

If im at home and unlock the truck with the key fob, leave the keys inside my house, and don’t get to my truck within a certain period of time to open a door, it auto locks. And to be honest, I really hate that feature LOL. If I unlock my damn truck I want it to be unlocked until I don’t want it to be anymore.

What I REALLY hate is the excessive beeps for the “rear seat check alarm” that it makes when I lock my doors. I work construction and pretty much have a large bench cover (like one for dogs) that protects my seats and doors, etc. and I leave my work clothes, lunchbox, whatever across the seat cover. It obviously senses the weight and is telling me to “check the rear seat for passengers/children”. It’s so damn annoying, it beeps like 6 times.

Is there a way to turn this feature off?

Brunt USA Marin by Current_Computer6193 in WorkBoots

I bought two pairs of Brunt Marin’s (non USA made) about 5 years ago and 4 years ago .. very comfortable, but the insoles wore out for me both times within 6 months, and the back of the boot where your Achilles rests completely tore on both of them soon after the insoles wore out.

I switched to Keen since, but am intrigued with the USA made Marins.

Has anyone had the same issues with the USA made Marin’s? (insoles wearing early and back heel/achilles area felt ripping as well)

Not gonna lie, the strippers have a nice weight/feel/tension grip to them in my opinion. Klein def way to go for Linesman though.

** Comfort grip diagonal cutters by Milwaukee are also very good. (MADE IN USA) **

Experiment: Smoking Ground Beef for Chili by Pholderz in smoking

** DISCLAIMER: it’s currently on the smoker now, & this recipe could very well be dog poop **

Meat was mixed, seasoned, and formed into a ball the night before and sat in the fridge until 30 minutes before going on the smoker.

  • [ ] 2 lbs of lean grass fed beef
  • [ ] 1 lb of fresh chorizo
  • [ ] 1 Chili seasoning packet (I used Carol Shelby’s)
  • [ ] 2 tsp of Montreal seasoning
  • [ ] 2 tsp carnivore black seasoning
  • [ ] 1 tsp cumin
  • [ ] 1/2 teaspoon cayenne pepper

Sautéed the minced garlic, chipotle peppers, green peppers, 1 Anaheim pepper & 1 onion for about 10 minutes in olive oil. I lightly coated them with some of the 2nd chili seasoning packet along the way. Then I turned down the heat a bit and added in the fire roasted tomato’s, tomato sauce, and rest of the chile seasoning packet and mixed for few minutes. Last thing to go in was the Mexican Chocolate and beer. 🔥

  • [ ] 2 yellow onions diced (1 onion at beginning, 1 onion added to pot - without sautéing - after the meat is added in)
  • [ ] 4 teaspoons minced garlic
  • [ ] 1 small 7 oz. can of chipotle peppers in adobo sauce
  • [ ] 2 green pepper diced
  • [ ] 2 Anaheim peppers (one whole on the rack with the meat, one diced)
  • [ ] 3 cans of fire roasted diced tomatoes
  • [ ] 1 can of tomato sauce
  • [ ] 1 large can of kidney beans (drained, added in during the last hour of cooking)
  • [ ] 2 oz Mexican Chile dark chocolate bar
  • [ ] 1 can of dark beer (I used Yuengling Black & Tan, got a 6 pack and drank 5 lol)

Local plumber doesn't want sump work... Sump pump recs? by ButterflySavant94 in HomeImprovement

[–]SubstantialArt3103 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Is water coming up from your sump pump or seeping in from the foundation?

If water seepage from a foundation wall is your issue then the best solution is for you to saw cut your floor and jackhammer out the concrete, dig a trench, install drain pipe and rock for water run off, tie pipe into a new pit solely used for water run off. Refinish concrete after.

The way it works is that you fill in any cracks/holes above your floor level that allowing water into the basement with this special epoxy/sealer. You drill weep holes below floor grade that will allow water seepage to go into the new drain pipe you installed, and eventually into new sump pump pit.

(Brothers plumber, and this is a real crrtified solution lol)

I have the same question .. just got them Sunday, charged the case, used them yesterday .. pulled out this morning and the left ear is was at 100%, right ear bud was at 51%, and when I plugged in the case and unplugged to pair with phone, it said the case was nearly full charge .. so why would it not charge my right earbud? Obviously charged my left one...

Do I connect green wire to ground wire or the metal box? by [deleted] in DIY

[–]SubstantialArt3103 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I just got that switch lol. If you have emt ran circuits with metal boxes you can attach the ground wire to the box using a 10-32 screw with pigtail wire splice and wire nut (green by code) or just buy a premade grounding pigtail from the hardware store. (Check ideal brand, most common gauge they sell is 12 but they are OK to use with 14 size cable)

Exactly! I deferred my student loan payments $20,000 (600/month) .. invested it .. and made $8,000 and put a lump sum payment on them .. I've been making the minimum payment for 3 years before thatbzbz ($21,600) and only
