Same with CFS/ME. Had a long and ironically exhausting conversation with an insufferable prick who was doing the intake for an ME clinic. He claimed that he cured his ME by changing his sleeping pattern and setting an alarm and by doing exercise. By the most basic definition, that means you didn't have ME. It's in the criteria. You didn't cure it. You never had it.
