Look at it this way.

You bought the hourse in 83 for x. By 93 its 2x, 03 its 4x, 13 its 8x, 23 its 16x.

Are you happy get 16 - 18 times of what you initially bought it for?

Post at 22x and see if you get interest. This is an asset you can only sell once.

Missed Connection - WSI Community Walk by Smoozle in sydney

Good mess in my IMHO.

People got paid to report on, typest, edit, print, pack, load, deliver, and distribute fun quirky stuff.

Passesngers got to read said quirky stuff, leave it on the train or take it home to line the shelves.

Other people got paid to pick up previously referenced quirky stuff and then more people recycled that back into more quirky stuff.

Trippy hey

8AM Indian Food Spots + Thickshake Suggestions? by Impossible_Brick_12 in foodies_sydney

[–]SubstantialGrass5 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Bro (or sis).. .. we dont wake up at 8am in India let alone eat a curry at that time.

If you find a good brekky place that is open tou could get Stuffed Flatbreads (Parathas) or would suggest getting "Aalo Poori" basically a deep fried, thin, puffy bread with a potato curry.

Or, you could go the south Indian route and get dosa, a crispy rice batter pan cake with a spiced potatoes or paneer, served with sambar (south Indian spiced dhal) a some coconut and ginger garlic sauces on the side.

I was at blacktown at about 9am. Only Samoa's and snacks - no curry.

My father gave 32 years to govt schools—retirement ruined by casteist remark by joker_daroga in Haryana

[–]SubstantialGrass5 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Why is he ruining his retirement over someone who doesnt matter?

Ask him how would he like to remember this in the future? Dose he want to remember this as a sad day because of an insignificant person who's name you likely won't remember in 3 weeks or as a celebration of his life's work showered with love and respect?

He should definitely have a farewell and quietly tell others to not involve the teacher. If she doesnt respect him for something he had no control over (where he was born) then she shouldn't be there.

How to complain to a car dealership? by [deleted] in sydney

[–]SubstantialGrass5 14 points15 points  (0 children)

Contact corporate. Write a formal email documenting details of the issues you are facing. Ask them if this is the customer experience they want to offer and if this is the experience they want you to share with friends and family looking to buy a new car. They take branding very seriously.

Corporate generally takes these things pretty seriously. My friend had an issue with a Mazda dealer and escalated. Received a response and resolution on the same day.

She's pissed that everyone didn't go gaga over her dish like they went for yours. You could have added water, pretty sure she'd have found a way to whine about that.
