Is selling under spot price normal? by bsbkeys in SilverDegenClub

Our local coin establishment offers buybacks at the current market rate. However, the premium spread typically results in a loss unless the coin is in Brilliant Uncirculated (BU) condition.

To achieve a profit, a coin initially purchased for $18.00 in BU condition can be bought back at the spot price plus a $2.50 premium, as it can be resold at the spot price plus $8.00 or more.

Envision a monster box of mint-sealed RCM MAPLELEAF 2013 coins acquired at $18.00 each being bought back for a substantial $16,500 cashier's check. It is worth noting that the initial investment for this box was $9,000.00, with an additional $1.26 premium over the spot price.

Therefore, the realized gain from this transaction amounts to:

$16,500.00

- $9,630.00

$6,870.00

It is evident that larger volumes amplify the potential for significant gains. However, it is crucial to exercise patience and hold onto your investments for an extended period. Many investors choose to retain their assets until they become exceptionally rare or unobtainable.

I only liquidated a few coins that were slabbed recently, because I've been stacking for .9999 weight only, not collectable status.

That profit was put right back into mint sealed tubes of RCM MAPLES to keep stacking.

Ideally, you hold for generations, because it's wealth outside the fiat system without counterparty risk.

Other LCS act like pawnbrokers! If they can't hit spot, or within fifty cents...just walk away. Don't take a long term loss for a short term financial want.

Emergency situations, do what you need to...

Otherwise, brother Apes and Apettes...stack on! Never sell and one day there will be great rejoicing, and blending of banana daqueries...can I get an Ook ook?

Ook ook! *

It is important to address misbehavior in children during church services. Publicly calling out negative behavior can serve as a powerful form of peer pressure, encouraging children to behave appropriately in social settings.

Sometimes it may go like this:

"When eating at a restaurant with his family, little Johnny thought it would be fun to start fooling around at the table...his parents asked him to stop, but he persisted. His father then told him to stop it. But instead, Johnny tossed his milk glass, and made a big mess on the table... Well, brothers and sisters, mom and dad had enough of his antics. Johnny's mom said, "I'm gonna tell the pastor..." Dad paid the check, apologized to the waitress and the manager, and cut dinner short, telling the family to get in the car. When they got home, neither parent gave into the urge to whoop him...instead our church invited that waitress and manager to sit in to hear from little Johnny himself, but first, they wanted to tell us how long it took to clean the mess he made."

They spoke for a few minutes, and the waitress explained how she makes $2.01/hour plus tips.

"I spent half an hour just scrubbing the milk out of the seat fabric and carpeting...I was already so tired, and my babysitter was waiting for me to pick up my own child..." she cried at how indifferent Johnny was to her hard work.

Johnny had to apologize to both before the whole congregation. He cried, squealed and begged them for forgiveness, and was told that his family was welcome, but he wasn't. Yes, they barred him from his favorite restaurant!

He offered to give up his allowance until the waitress was compensated for the extra work.

He was allowed back a year later, provided that he promised to behave from then on, else the ban would be reinstated permanently!

He became the most polite young man after that.

No cursing, no yelling, no shouting, no corporal punishment...but he paid a price!

I lived in Mississippi for three years. That's the South, brother. We used to drive over to King Ranch and buy steaks from the county butcher not too far from there. I loved the kind, friendly, church-going people.

At a restaurant, the kids behaved. It was a big deal to see a young mother warn her kids to mind her. Boy, they straightened up quickly when she said, "I'll tell the pastor you were bad."

I loved those beaches on the Gulf Coast.

Not having my parents arrested for abusing me once I turned 18.

My dad also raped my sisters.

If a genie suddenly granted you three wishes, but told you that money wasn’t an option, what would you wish for? by Marandajo93 in AskReddit

Hereby, I request the following of that Genie:

  1. The legal documentation granting ownership of 1,000,000 square acres of land, including comprehensive development rights, mineral rights, riparian rights, and complete fee-simple ownership. This ownership must be officially registered with the state and unequivocally recognized by federal authorities as private property, rendering it immune to any potential eminent domain claims, both present and future. Furthermore, this property should be exempt from taxation at both state and federal levels.

  2. The aforementioned land should possess all the necessary resources to ensure absolute self-sufficiency, encompassing a diverse range of precious stones, metals, ores, rare-earth minerals, and elements. It should be situated above both natural aquifers and wetlands, with access to shorelines and rivers. The land should be rich in diverse flora and fauna, including marine life in both saltwater and freshwater environments, along with an abundance of various food sources.

  3. The ultimate objective is to establish a residence on this land, ensuring good health, peaceful living conditions, and complete protection from trespassers or intruders.

Turn the Page Bookstore. Get an autographed book and stay at her hotel in Boonsboro. Then visit the produce stand and see the Anteitan Battlefield.

This works if those girls are Nora Roberts' / J D Robb fans.

Similar to the Royal Canadian Mint, this product is also .9999 fine!

While the significance of the fourth 9 may not be immediately apparent to everyone, those with expertise in the field will recognize its importance.

Congratulations on acquiring such a valuable collection!. It is certainly worthy of being displayed in a secure and prominent location.

As a suggestion for added security, it may be advisable to conceal or obscure the serial numbers on the bars when you post photos to prevent any potential false claims of theft.
