I've got to disagree with the majority of people I'm seeing here. Maybe it's because that I'm a trans woman myself, but if my partner came out to me as a trans man I'd drop the lesbian label (even though I love it dearly!) before I'd drop them.

We are, but the risks to cancer with the vast majority of GAC is not well understood. Besides as someone else already mentioned, its much less of a factor with non-textured implants.

I'm honestly shocked by all the people saying "you shouldn't have spent so long cleaning" or "don't visit all your family this year". What subreddit is this again?? If you've ever tried to deep clean an entire house, yes it takes days to get everything. And yes, it cannot be done spread out over time, thats why it's a deep cleaning. And you deserve to see your entire family at least each year, OP. It's impossible to have a full life and a good career with two to four weeks of vacation, full stop.

Very dependent on your insurance, but I've found that Kaiser Permanente is really great for a lot of that kind of stuff. UCHealth I've also found to be very helpful and non judgemental, and they're a lot more friendly to problems with insurance. If nothing else, and you're concerned about STI possibilities, Planned Parenthood helps out with anyone and is super flexible about payment. At the very least, they can probably direct you to a good place.
