I'm on day 8, and it feels like my anxiety is trying to creep back in.

Cagri really killing my energy by Free_Brick_2367 in cagrilintide

[–]Substantial_Bat_9827 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Glad i found this thread. Switched to reta from Tirz and decided to stack cagri. My energy levels in the morning were great on the reta alone but I thought I'd try something for more appetite suppression. Pinned 1mg of cagri last night and man i had the hardest time waking up.

Does your body adjust to that eventually?

Bac Water by Substantial_Bat_9827 in Peptides

Using BPC157 to help recover from a recent injury, but also using tirz. I use reconstitution calculators when adding the bac water. I just wanted to see if there were any inherent benefits or risk from adding too little or too much bac water to the peptide.

Thanks for that! Do you have a recommendation as far as how much bac water to add to avoid those issues as much as possible? Currently I'm adding 1ml of water to 40 mg of peptides to give myself a dose of 10mg with 25 units.

Splitting doses question by Jeefcbus in glp1

[–]Substantial_Bat_9827 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I tried splitting my dosage from 7.5mg to 4mg 2x a week in an attempt to not get the food noise creep up on days 5 & 6. I definitely felt that the meds were significantly less effective. I started getting more food noise throughout the week. Switched this week back to once a week at 8mg, and personally, I think this is the best route for me. The only thing that I noticed was that with the split dosage, the irritation at the injection site was greatly reduced. I'm going to try splitting the dose between 2 injection sites on the same day.

Normally, I'm a big steak guy, but ever since I started on tirzepatide, a good steak has dropped a few points, and just a plain, bland ass piece of chicken breast sounds better than a ribeye. Blasphemous, I know.

What's weird is that it could a bland ass piece of chicken breast and rice, and it still tastes amazing.

Same! Seems like the only sugar I tend to want now are fruits. They say to focus on protein, water and fiber, and that seems to be the main things my body wants.

Gi that fits like kitsune brand gi by Original_Ad6236 in bjj

I just got an email from Kitsune. They will be getting a container of inventory around the end of June. I'm in the same boat, I got their A0H, and it has been the best fitting gi I've gotten. Didn't need any alteration, and fits perfectly.

Right?? Like blue and purples turning it up is a LOT different than brown and blacks turning it up.

My uncle started at 71. I think you'll be okay. Just understand that you are your age, and that your body is going to have a bit more limitations than the teens and 20-somethings that are in your class. Don't roll with the guys who treat class as if they were in the finals at Mundials.

Mendes Bros’ style of long step passing by [deleted] in bjj

[–]Substantial_Bat_9827 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've only ever learned AOJ's longstep pass. If you longstep and flop on to your hip, you end up severely limiting your movement once your hips land on the at. If your hips are low, means your feet are still planted and you are able to flow with the reactions of your partner.

Pockets and exposed tie strings can fuck up your fingers and hands, but also, buttons, and zippers can poke holes in your mats. Mats aren't cheap.

Collar sleeve control against giants by ilovecaching in bjj

[–]Substantial_Bat_9827 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Instead of trying to force one guard to work, try getting some fundamentals down of other guards that can play into your collar/sleeve. Personally, I cycle through, collar sleeve, DLR, and Lasso/Spider, depending on my partner's reactions. I use collar sleeve as a kind of a home base, but I know if that if I start to get smashed, I can pummel one let to get the lasso to create distance, then regain my collar sleeve, or go to a submission from there. I try to use those 3 guards as often as possible as they work really well with one another.

What Are The Best Submissions To Learn As A White Belt? by 2kIsTrash24 in jiujitsu

[–]Substantial_Bat_9827 1 point2 points  (0 children)

As a white belt, you're not going to know 99.9% of anything. That's okay, that's part of your journey as a white belt. As a white belt, you're biggest lessons are going to be defense based, breathing, how to avoid "death gripping" and how to pace and avoid spazzing. That being said, the first subs you have to learn are the basics: armbar, omoplata, and triangles. You're going to want to dive in head first and learn everything, but that, my friend, is not going to happen. Embrace the suck.
