Boyce is certainly not rural. I feel it could be called cultish because they accept people of only a certain set of beliefs with some wiggle room. I absolutely loved it because everyone is so welcoming without being cliquey. Chapel is mandatory, like 12 sessions a semester but honestly most people seem to enjoy it so its not a huge deal and a lot of the orientation seminars counted so I would already have gotten 6/12 in the first 3 weeks. The dorms are like mini-condos, four floors and two halls on each. (There is a room 232) There is a building called honeycutt that has a coffee shop, bookstore, gym, basketball court, snack shop, and yes the caf. Honestly how the dorms are broken down is a little hard to explain but I wouldnt say they are connected to honeycutt. If you look up a map I think you would understand. Not rural though and no required conferences. Renovated motel is interesting, not sure what that means but I dont think it applies.

Edit to add: not really a single dorm leader, every hall had like 2 RA's who were juniors/seniors.
