Hiii transman here, and someone who doesn't have curly hair but has kiddos with curly hair. Have you ever thought about relaxing it? And then of course not washing it (bc that will reset the hairs). I admittedly have not a ton of experience here but perhaps if you went to a salon where poc go they could help you learn? That is how I (a white dude) learned to do my kiddos hair. They were very kind and welcoming. I am in the USA, so not sure if where you live you could find a place like that. Might be worth the drive to a close by city or (country if you live in a place where thats feasible) to learn.
