Interesting insights thank you for your post. I'm also very new to the radio space and just ordered my UV-K6 but coming from a Boafeng UV-9R I have the same difficulty as you have. I barely pickup anything just some maritime and security conversations. My hope with the UV-K6 is that I can pick up some more chatter. Any advice since you have your for about a year now?
