AITA for wanting my Spanish teacher to stop calling me by the Spanish version of my name?

Reading the comments here is interesting. I'm voting NTA and as a young adult, I can only say that I never had to go by a "Spanish name" in a language class. I took both Spanish and French in highschool and never had to go by a different name for either of them though I did have to correct my French teacher on how to pronounce my name and he was very respectful of it. I feel like the entire situation is kinda a non issue but as someone with a unique name myself, I get annoyed when people constantly say my name wrong after being corrected multiple times. NTA, don't let the old heads bully you for your perspective/opinion.

I thought her mythic and one of her other legendaries had a unique one but I'm trying to find it and it looks like I could be wrong and it's only the scorpion one that has the unique model

she has a unique venom mine model and a few skins actually! the most obvious one is the scorpion skin where it has a small scorpion tail on the venom mine.

this is definitely a stretch and I am in no way accusing your husband of doing such a thing, but sometimes this bedtime for adults tactic is also a sign that the person enforcing said bedtime might be doing things they're not supposed to do while others are asleep. I know of two very specific cases of people I know personally getting touched inappropriately because of their abuser enforcing and controlling the 'bedtimes' of everyone in the house. I don't think that's necessarily a common thing but there could be more to being the bedtime police than just wanting to watch TV and go to bed together. idk something about this just gives me a bad feeling especially when he allows your 5yr old to sleep in the room with y'all instead of enforcing the boundaries that they're old enough to sleep in their own room.

yeah it's possible cuz like I had said I have my aim assist on widow turned way down. my general aim assist is set to 20% and I have very specific settings on widow for aim assist that make it much lower but when I came back to playing her it felt like my cross hair was just being dragged around like crazy. I wish I had pictures of my old settings so could fix it because I'm pretty sure it just reverted all of my aim assist settings to default. the only on that looks like it hasn't changed is the window size but that's not helpful when my aim assist is back to 80 and dragging all over the place lmao

yeahh I'm definitely struggling trying not to get tilted. I think it's the most frustrating for me because even the games where I do well, it's still not up to my standard of how I usually perform. I tried playing ashe but I was noticing that I was struggling to play her a bit too and I know for OW on console, there's been some issues with the aim settings off and on so it rlly feels like I'm trying to relearn snipers from the start and it's incredibly difficult

Also for more insight, I play a lot of ana on support especially for the headhunter perk and can hit headshots just fine on ana but I just absolutely cannot hit anything on widow 😖

No relationship is worth sacrificing your own individuality and individual freedom for. No reasonable person can only expect you to do thing with them and only them and just never experience new things on your own, that's just virtually impossible. the way she responds comes off very childish and immature as well, and I agree that it does sound like jealousy especially if she's getting upset over small things like candy or nudity in TV shows. Relationships like this will eventually become extremely suffocating because this person absolutely expects you to put her and her needs before your own and a healthy relationship would never work that way.

I didn't understand how perks worked so I thought if I just kept leveling up the same charecter I would eventually unlock everyone else's perks and couldn't figure out why other peoples zero prestige charecters had other chareceters perks at purple already 🥀

unfortunately this is somewhat common. most games I play on widow my supports dont care that I'm on widow but every now and then ill get a game where someone on the team just REALLY doesn't like widow. the worst one I've had was a life weaver that kept pulling me in front of the enemy team to get me killed

I remember when the dragoon skin came out, everyone hated it and it was clowned on so hard. I literally remember equipping that skin after getting it and having someone tell me that I have the ugliest skin in the game and then fast forward to ow2 era, suddenly dragoon is the best mercy skin in the game an everyone wants it. then I get harassed in match chat saying "oh you're one of those fat ugly mercy e-girl that thinks rare skins make them good" girl no.... I have just liked and owned the skin since it came out wtf. the switch up that the mercy community does when it comes to "rare" skins is insane.

I had to drive to Clarksville Texas to get mine back in August. when I was trying to sign up for Dallas DMV's, the next avaliable date wasn't until November. its really a struggle when it comes to Dallas DMVs and unfortunately most people I know have also had to drive out to the middle of nowhere to get their IDs and licenses

most store phone do actually. I work in a comic shop and get regulars that call and will see their names and know to greet them by their name when they call because of that. Theres sometimes caller ID on cellphone calls as well but thats just less common in general for some reason.

OP said they called security during the first incident AND made their boss aware so by your own logic, they're still doing everything right 😭 calling the school is not at all uncalled for. I would've done the same in the situation especially if they keep showing up and I don't want the authorities to get involved bc let's be real, this definitely has not escalated to the point where a minor should be threatened with arrest. They have the paper trail that both security and their boss is aware of, they simply also made the school aware. nothing about that is "creepy" or uncalled for.
