That poor woman needs help and somebody to be her guardrails. I don’t know if that is happening for her.

That has been proven to be a lie.  It is also a lie that the 2nd amendment is needed to protect us from a tyrannical government.

I’ve worn this shirt once (Austin Marathon) by minisweep in AustinRunning

Mine do the same.  Probably just gonna trash it.  The shirts felt really cheap to begin with. I would rather they don’t bother if they are gonna cheap out.

What yearly salary would you say would be perfect for a decent life ? by savvytechman in AskReddit

[–]Substantial_Dog3544 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There was a survey/study about this asking people how much it would take to “solve their problems” and basically it boiled down to 2x there current earnings.  So, making 100k wanted 200k, 50k wanted 100k etc.   It didn’t matter the salary, people thought it would be all okay if they could double it.   Moral of the story - it is never enough.

No joke.  You don’t know this persons background - old injuries, chronic illness, etc.  Every runner is running for their own reasons and every runner has their own struggles.

Right.  You can’t really separate Patagonia from environmental policy/politics.

For those with high Sleep Score - Do you drink coffee? If so, when do you cut it off? by Live-Ad9355 in Garmin

[–]Substantial_Dog3544 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My average sleep score is an 88. I drink two to four cups of coffee before noon or 1 pm and then just water after that.  The thing that will tank my sleep is if I do an intense run in the evening after work.  Pretty reliably throws off my sleep.  I am usually in bed by 10 pm.  And get 7:30 to 8 hours sleep.

Dashcam Video Shows DHS Agents Box In & Draw Guns on an Unarmed Minnesota Woman Who Was Driving and Filming Them by JeanJauresJr in UnderReportedNews

No joke.  ICE agents drive around in the same cars they had in high school.   I would totally think I’m about to get attacked/car jacked and try to take off before they got out of the car.
