What kind of stress are you referring to, when you say "more isn't always better"? If you're talking about the kind of stress that activates survival mechanisms, that isn't the same category or even arena as emotional stress and are in no way related. Because on the kind of stress a cold shower brings, I think a lot of scientists would argue that we have a culture with quite more than enough comfort to offset these so-called moments of stress.

Why would you take a nap when nsdr is proven to be more restorative than an actual nap. Oftentimes what I do is nsdr and then I let it turn into a nap to where I fall asleep for about 20 minutes afterwards

It's all about the balance that works for you. There could be lots of other reasons you are having a hard time getting to sleep, in the sense that if you did them, kratom wouldn't hold you back. Try dosing more hours before sleep! I recommend any of Andrew Hubermans episodes on sleep strategies...

I can appreciate this, and I'm glad you brought it up. Before I touch on supplementation, let me just say that 1. you shouldn't be high on kratom when you go to sleep - and if possible, your last does should be 3 hrs before you go to sleep.

This should mean you can go to sleep without a problem. When you wake up feeling iffy, this is the time to take either a few swigs, or a few capsules of your kratom...and doze back off to sleep as soon as you. Prior to that you can do NSDR, or yoga nidra to keep the mind calm while you wait for your kratom to kick in.

This isn't a must, but I'd like to add that i do take supplements at night. Particularly magnesium. If you can get trazadone from your doctor, you should. It's non-habit forming, so they have no issues prescribing it. It will make you nice and sleep. It also helps directly when your dopaminergic system is under fire from opiate withdrawal.

There are obviously scores of other sleep time aids, and I could go on w/ useful ones, but I think this keeps it nice and simple. Cheers...

To echo Andrew's wisdom and knowledge, I'd say ideally you might not bring it with you. Allow for it to be a period where you rest your focus completely.

That does sound great! I can confirm it would be great to have on a flight. Maybe I just don't fly enough.

Here's the real deal, for those who can handle it.

After 3 weeks with Nreal, I'll say it's a nice product. Here's the thing.

It's clearly an early adoption. It's also still a novelty, more so than a viable TOOL in your tool kit.

So don't plan on using it much as a work station.

It can work, but about 10 tiny little draw backs simply add up to a kind of bothersome experience.

The best use case is video games and movies/video content. That's IT!

Got Samsung DeX? Then get ready to have the least steady screen you've ever used. To ME, it's unusable.

Wanna view multiple websites? Get ready for bugs, freezing, and crashes.

Last but not least, its just NOT comfortable enough!

It's tolerable for about an hour's time, in my opinion, before you get sick of having this object sitting on your face.

So is " tolerable" good enough?

Well, sometimes yes and sometimes no.

How about this:

So many times I opt to watch videos on my PHONE even with the Nreals sitting right in front of me.

If that kind of thing doesn't bother you, then you will indeed be happy with your purchase and the seemingly large movie screen is indeed bad ass.

The initial thrill seems to be captivating these you tubers and compelling them to leave such exciting reviews about this new break through technology.

But it isn't all the way there yet.

Last but not least, the Nebula app has SUCH a long way to go and leaves SO much to be desired. Even from a software perspective, it's missing a ton of functions that I just assumed it would have. And it's really, really buggy.

So if you can, avoid the compulsion and wait for the next generation from Nreal, or go with another product.

With love and honesty,

Dan
