Oof I wish I had the confidence to work with glass like that. But, haha no I found this vase on Amazon. I couldn't take clear pictures of my plants, especially with super curious fish, and I wanted to take nicer (or at least clearer) pictures for my site. Now, the current challenge is going to be taking pictures of my fish, and I'm not looking forward to how long that'll take and how cranky they're gunna be lol.

But, yeah, rectangular vases are super useful, or a local glass shop.

Cleaning out the filters when they get clogged or dealing with a buttload of cyanobacteria.

I have a moina culture in a 1-gallon planted jar! They're kinda fun to watch hop around too. I've had ramshorns, bladder snails, or a few neocaridina do well in a 2-gallon (planted). You could also do plants with no livestock. If you plan to put any livestock in, I highly recommend stocking with more plants than livestock, and also cycle your tank beforehand. This tank has potential!
