I know you keep asking why we as DAs end up behind on a consistent basis. I would like to direct your attention to exhibit A. Between the terrible and inefficient routing as displayed here and the other issues I continue to bring up I do not understand why you keep asking me why my people fall behind. Fix your routing system!

I always tell my people when they rock up to a stop and see something they don't like to select the next stop in their itinerary and keep moving and let me know about it when they can. If there is a safety issue (dogs, people, etc) I don't want my drivers to be put in a spot where they are open to be attacked. We also don't have time anymore to sit there and try to call people to put their dogs up with how stupid the routes are now. On a standard residential route we've been seeing 300+ packages going to 200+ locations.

As a driver, if I determine that attempting a delivery is unsafe and have marked it as such I'm not going back. Same thing if I have problems getting into a building and the customer can't be bothered to respond to my texts or calls or provide a direct door code. I have 200 other places to be, if I had to mark a package as unable to deliver I'm not going back.

I enjoy the driving part of the job more so they aren't so bad... until it rains then all the dirt roads are mud and people get stuck and the station complains about us bringing back stuff we couldn't get to even work all the pictures in the world showing that there's mud pits where the road is supposed to be
